Week in READview:

On & Off the Blog:

Writing this a little late but thats ok.

Last weekend My husband and I celebrated our 22nd Anniversary, we had a nice night out after a long day at a garage sale with my mom. We didn’t sell a lot so we decided not to do it the next day. The town has a town wide garage sale and you just sign up for it without paying a permit for the sale. So we figured why not and if we don’t sale anything we would give it away to the VVA (Vietnam veterans association) so they can sell or give to people in need. I think next year we will do one here since I have a lot of boxes to go through in the attic and basement and am sure to find stuff. We moved in to quickly I never had a chance to go through the other house, so one goal for next year is to go though this house and fix up the front and back of the house. It is in serious need of plants and flowers. I am also hoping to have a lemon tree. I cant wait to share the progress.

This week wasn’t awful but it also wasn’t great, being blamed for something I didn’t do or know at work and just feeling like I am behind of everything. Good thing about this week is the weather turned chilly and I love it. I am currently writing this in my sun room (which is chilly) drinking coffee, just a great way to start a Sunday Morning.

Still actively looking for a new job and while I haven’t forgotten those I owe stuff too, I am also wanting to take on new clients if anyone needs any design work.

I am so ready for the next three months now that the house is all done. We just need to get some pictures on the wall and fill it with our memories. We started going back to movie night on Saturday, I am hoping to keep it up since I love hanging with the family at night.

The next couple of weekends are going to be busy, I am never a fan of a busy weekend since I don’t get a lot of time to hang at home. At least one thing will be pumpkin picking, I need my Winesap Apples. *yum*

Read & Currently Reading:

It’s been slow reading, still struggling to find time to do it. However, I am finding this book to be very interesting. I am starting to get to more of what is happening after the hurricane so I am looking forward to it. Now sure what to read next but I am still in a super spooky mood.

  1. Glad to see you’re back to blogging. Happy anniversary to you and your husband, that’s nice you had a good night out together. Your plans for your garden sound exciting and a lemon tree sounds nice. I look forward to seeing your progress. We’re currently working on cleaning out our house as we never did as much of that in the past few years and want to do so before we move.

Sorry to hear about your work and you getting blamed for something you didn’t do. Feeling behind is so stressful. Good luck with your job search!

I still have a graphic about Limabean Designs on my blog, let me know if you want me to swap it out for a new one. I hope you have a good week!

  2. Happy anniversary! I am not a garage sale fan. We had one one time and that was enough. We didn’t sell much and I remembered that I’m not a fan of most people! I’m sorry about work and the not so great week. I hope this week is going better and fingers crossed for the job hunt.

  3. Glad you are getting settled into the new place. It’s such a huge job. We still have 6 boxes that we haven’t unpacked since we moved three years ago. (Eye-roll.) Work stress is the worst. If I come across anyone needing a logo, I will send them your way.

  4. Glad you are getting settled into your new house! Bummer, you are having a bad time at work. Hope you can find a new place soon or get lots of freelance work!

Have a great week and happy reading!

  5. Moving is a lot of work and it seems like I never got enough sort and throw done before the move. Your home looks so beautiful. Our HOA has spring and fall garage sales but I haven’t been motivated to do it. I just give stuff away in the Community gifting on Facebook. Enjoy this great fall weather!
