Holy Crap!!! I think I am in a reading slump, well not really a slump, but I have been reading non stop since Jan. It is taking me FOREVER to read the book I am reading now. Not because I hate it, I actually am halfway through it and I already know it’s a 5 star book. It’s just I have been doing a bunch of other stuff and not really reading. I am determined to finish Crown of Midnight this weekend (by the time this is posted I should be done) because it is such an intense read I thought the last book was amazing OMG this one is blowing me away. I plan to write both reviews at the same time in one post. A MEGA post 🙂
I also have another review to finish, I am just trying to figure out what to say. It’s one of those books that I liked 3.5 stars but I can’t put it into words. I really thought it was a good read but It has some issues with it but not bad just not what I expected.
My summer reading list has been working great but again i think I messed up by accepting some read/review blog posts for the beginning of September so I might have to put aside my list and start on those but I still have about two weeks before that happens.
I plan to do a winter reading list also since its my favorite time of year to snuggle on the couch with a nice cup of coffee and a good book.
But first….
I have been working on a few things for the Fall. I plan on having a Halloween Giveaway and of course something for my FAVORITE time of year Christmas. I’m not sure what to giveaway for that yet.
October I thought maybe I can do a Horror Book Month were I read and review spooky books. So for the entire month of October I might be a little skittish.
Then November I think I am going to do Humorous Mystery Month. I will pick 4 or 5 book in the Humorous Mystery Genre (Most from Henery Press) and Read and Review those. You can join me on any of these if you wish just let me know you will be reading and reviewing with me and I will link your review to my blog.
My Plan for both October and November is to start reading the book on Saturday then have the review written to be posted on Friday. Wishful thinking? maybe but I thought It would be a fun. I will have my lists posted soon so you can see the books I plan to read.
On a different note…something I am very excited about….
I will be an official College Student In September..again. It’s only for 6 months, I am going to get my certificate in Web Design. I have been a Graphic Designer for 17 years so I’m sure this will be easy, I hope 🙂 It drove me crazy that I didn’t know how to do web stuff, plus if I ever needed to get another job I would need the experience anyway so It’s better late then never. I’m excited and freaking out all at the same time.
