Week in READ-view and The Sunday Post
(The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. Check out the details here.

So this week was a little crazy and a rather slow blog week. I did manage to read two books.

 Books and Blogging

I had started to read one book but wasn’t aware I was accepted for a review tour for another book.

Mutilate My Heart by Emily Godwin

Was for a blog tour I did on Friday
This book was great if you read her sister’s book American Girl on Saturn and loved it then you will love this one. If you haven’t read it yet you really need to read both. These Sisters have serious talent!
The next one I read is for a blog tour coming up with week
Very cute book with a very strong message
Dead Jed: The Adventures of a Middle Grade Zombie by Scott Craven

 I am now reading

and then will be reading

both are Netgalley reads I am spend the rest of the year reading books from my Netgalley (to improve my ratio) and books that are on my TBR list that I haven’t gotten too. Hoping December will prove to be a very productive reading month 🙂

So please stop by on Tuesday to check out the post to enter to win one of the awesome books I read.

What else has been going on?

I had such a fun day on Thanksgiving, lots of food and yummy desserts

I love spending time with the family and I am looking forward to doing it again in a few weeks on Christmas. I usually spend Xmas Eve with my family and I do all the cooking for Xmas day for my husbands family and my parents and sister. It’s my favorite thing to do I LOVE cooking 🙂

I was also able to decorate my blog as you can see 🙂

Plus my house…Here are a few pictures

I love decorating and my house feels so magical when it’s all dressed up.

I collect Nutcrackers and I have quite a few. I found a couple at Pier One Imports that
is calling my name and I need to get over there soon!

I also have grown to HATE Doc McStuffin’s well not really her but the Doc McStuffins Get Better Check Up Center Toy that is no where to be found in any store. I have looked high and low for it and it’s just not available. The one toy that my daughter wants more than anything else in the world and I can’t friggin find it. Now I know it’s only the first week and you never know, they may restock at stores in the next couple of days, but for some reason I am in such a panic because with my luck the only toy my daughter wants wont be available I will have to somehow explain to her why Santa couldn’t get it. This should be an interesting adventure and I hope when it’s all said and done there will be cocktails and hard liquor because god knows I will need it.

So how was your Thanksgiving and did you decorate?
Are you looking for a toy that is impossible to find that you need
to recruit people in other state to look for it for you?
Oh and what did you read this week? 😉
Let’s Chat…
Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!
Happy Reading

  1. I love the Nutcrackers! and your place is so Christmasy, I love it!! We will find that Doc McStuffins – I'm determined!!!

    • What is pissing me off the most is that Walmart insists they have it at the stores on-line but everytime I buy it they cancel it saying its not available. WHY HAVE IT ON-LINE THEN!!! This is driving me crazy….It even says the one near your mom has it again!!!

  2. Your house looks very festive, nice pics! We decorated too over the weekend and are mostly done, a few things yet. Good luck with the Doc McStuffins!!

Those Treasure Hunt books look pretty good.
