3 Star #Review ~ Star Wars: Jedi Academy (Jedi Academy #1) by Jeffrey Brown

This was a cute book but it was a little all over the place.

The story is about Roan, he wanted to be a pilot like his father & older brother, however, instead he is invited to Jedi School. It was cute to see Master Yoda as instructor and he was drawn very cute. The problem I has was the story wasn’t as engaging as I would have hoped it would be. I wanted more action or some adventure but it was sort of boring. I was hoping to see more jedi skills and not just school drama.

The illustrations were ok, a little rough for my liking but I think kids might find them enjoyable. Some of the were a little hard to figure out. Overall it was ok but not my favorite. I think younger kids would find this to be a fun read, especially fans of Star Wars, however, I am also a fan of Star Wars but it might be an age thing. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by to check out my review.

Have a great day and Happy Reading!

  1. Sounds cute but yeah sounds like it needed a little more adventure! And I find that art is so hit or miss in comics these days! Thanks for sharing though- nice review. 🙂
