bangs head on desk WHY am I torturing myself.
So once again I picked up an interesting retelling. I haven’t read one of these with the three bears before so why not. It wasn’t awful but it wasn’t great. While the story lacked quite a bit of character build and story once again I am plagued with a book that is full of pointless sex. I can’t even express how odd it was for these three bears to come home and find their mate, instead of getting to know her a little or even talking to her they basically said, you can’t go home to your village, you can’t talk to anyone else and you need to have sex with the three of us right this moment. 17 children later they are all one happy family…WTF! (I don’t think they had 17 children, I made that up but honestly I really didn’t care) I gave this 3 stars because the idea was interesting the sex was ok but the cover was fantastic. It was really the only things I actually liked the most. The cover added one star, it’s my review I can do what I want. 😉
Overall, it was ok, not great. 55 pages wasn’t enough to really give this story the build it desperately needed. I also don’t mind a fast burn but good lord, slow down.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my review.
Have a great day and Happy Reading!

Kudos for finishing it, Michelle! I have said it many times – I do like sex in books BUT there must also be a story. Sorry this one didn’t deliver on much other than sex. 😉 17 kids! LOL
{{{hugs}}}
LOL! Full of pointless sex sounds like the horror book I am currently reading and not caring much for… I would give the cover a star too! 😉 To bad it didn’t work out to well but those short ones are always a bit iffy.
