#Review ~ The Christmas Gift by Emily Walters

Posted November 28, 2016 by Michelle in Review / 0 Comments

I was looking for something quick and sweet to start off my christmas reading. This book was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Jennifer and Darren are a married couple that seems to have lost their way in their married life. When they both make a wish to have different spouses they realize that they have made a horrible mistake.

I really liked the realness of this story. Some of the fights that Jennifer and Darren had sort of reminded me of me and my husband. Stupid things that really don’t mean anything, just the frustration of life and money. It really put stuff in perspective when it comes to being married for a while and things sort of falling into a normal comfort routine with no communication. This book really lets you see that the little stuff doesn’t really matter, it’s how you solve those problems together and with an open mind to trust each other.

I really thought this was a cute story and I enjoyed the HEA. It was a great christmas story to get you in the holiday mood and to make you think about what is really important.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my review.

Have a great day and Happy Reading!
