#Review ~ Maddy West and the Tongue Taker by Brian Falkner

My Review:

This book was just really cute and a great story for kids of all ages. Maddy is such a likable character, she is so cute and extremely smart. A lot of things that went on in the book I was happy when Maddy would figure them out. She was a very strong willed little girl and a great characters for young kids. I also liked her friend Kazuki he was shy and really didn’t speak English all that well but since Maddy could pretty much speak any language she heard, she was the only one who really could talk to him. He is a very good friend to Maddy and I just thought they had a fantastic relationship. All of the secondary characters even the mean ones were really awesome.

The story is full of adventure and action, it is a very fast paced book that tells a wonderful story of friendship and magic. I really enjoyed reading this and think it would be a great book for kids of all ages to read even adults. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a fun read or want to get your kids interesting in reading. Fun, fast paced and a great story.

    I like reading about smart characters who are able to figure out things alongside the reader. It’s no fun when as a reader you figured things out and it takes the character too long to realize the same. Kazuki sounds like a good friend to her and that’s fun she can speak almost every language she hears and thus can understand him. I always like the focus on action and adventure in MG books. This sounds like a cute and enjoyable read. Great review!

      It was really cute how they did it and it made it easy to read because every place she went someone spoke a different language, some books put in the other language but this one kept it simple just stating the what the person said was in another language. (hope that made sense lol)
