Eversea, a love story, is a Winter Rose Contest FINALIST 2013. Emilia Pisani of Simon & Schuster (judge) says “Great southern flavor!” and “Jack is an alluring leading man!”
An orphaned, small-town, southern girl, held hostage by responsibility and self-doubt.
A Hollywood A-list mega-star, on the run from his latest scandal and with everything to lose.
A chance encounter that leads to an unlikely arrangement and epic love affair that will change them both forever.
When his co-star and real-life girlfriend is caught cheating on him with her new director, A-list hottie, Jack Eversea, finds himself in sleepy Butler Cove, South Carolina. Jack hopes the sultry southern heat in this tiny coastal Lowcountry town will hide him not only from the tabloids and his cheating girlfriend, but his increasingly vapid life and the people who run it. He doesn’t count on meeting Keri Ann Butler
Keri Ann has relied on herself so long, dealing with her family’s death and the responsibilities of keeping up her family’s historic mansion, that boys and certainly the meager offering of eligible boys in Butler Cove, have never figured into her equation. But fate has other plans. Suddenly face to face with the man who played the movie role of her favorite fictional character, Jack has Keri Ann yearning for everything she has previously avoided … and Jack must decide whether this funny, sassy girl is worth changing his life for, before his mistakes catch up to him.

My Thoughts
I had Eversea by Natasha Boyd on my summer reading list and I was so bummed I didn’t have a chance to get to it. I am even more bummed at the fact that I almost missed out on an AWESOME read. I am so glad I got the opportunity to read Eversea.
Keri Ann Butler had to grow up rather quickly after the death of her parents and her Nana. Living in Butler Cove to care for the family home that has been in her family for generations while her brother is away a school. Keri Ann never expected to meet a stranger that just so happens to be one of the hottest celebrities, Jack Eversea. Jack has just broken up with his long time on screen girlfriend after finding out she cheated on him and comes to Butler Cove to get away. Keri Ann and Jack never expected to fall head over heals for each other but can they survive after all the secrets and lies come out?
I adore this wonderful cast of characters. So well written and so much fun to read about, Keri Ann is very inexperienced and you can tell how indecisive she is about her life and of course the relationship with Jack. I loved her BFF Jazz, pretty much all of the lines I laughed out loud at were from her. They had such a great friendship and I loved how she really supported Keri Ann, Fireplace scene was my favorite and so funny.
Jack, I want to smack him but give him a cuddle. He is super sexy but not very smart when it comes to know what he wants out of life. Having everyone dictate what he should or shouldn’t do and it drove me crazy how vague he was at time. I actually yelled at the book a few times and really wanted to strangle him.
Keri Ann and Jack’s chemistry, I loved it, I may have needed to drink something cold and then take a cold shower, or drink something cold while taking a cold shower some scenes were that steamy!!! So well written and I love them together. The entire story had a great flow, I had a very hard time putting the book down (which could be why I finished it at 2am). The end was WOW.
I gave Eversea by Natasha Boyd 4/5 stars. This is such a great story with a lot of passion and some amazing characters, not to mention it’s HILARIOUS. And you have to love a book that references my favorite movie The Princess Bride. I 100% recommend for great characters, a fun story and some very steamy and hot scenes. I want more Jack and Keri Ann and I can’t wait to see were the story goes in Forever, Jack.

My Thoughts
If you have not read Eversea (you must) then I suggest you skip over this review, don’t want to give anything away….
I’ll wait while you go read it 😉
Awesome your back!!!
Forever, Jack starts with Jack and what happened after he left Butler Cover. The Story starts off with him finding out Audrey’s secret and is livid. I felt so bad for him. Keri Ann has moved on and used her experience to get into school and start selling her stuff she makes. Well sort of, she is going to school and selling her stuff but her heart is still broken and she is so upset about Jack not coming back. But can they look past all that has happened and can things work out so the Keri Ann and Jack can be together?
Ok so I will be 100% honest I could have smacked both Keri Ann and Jack for making me yell so much at the book. I physically became hostile they drove me nuts. BUT I LOVE THEM and wanted them to be together. After the time I was screaming JUST TELL HIM and the other times I was yelling OMG GIRL JUST LET IT GO!!! I was a basket case, it was so worth it lol.
Once again I love Jazz and even Mrs. Weaton were hilarious. They are such great characters. I did not however like Joey, I wanted to but he was way to protective of her and tried to dictate her life even worse then the first book. I totally understand wanted to protect your little sister but to out right control her life was making me angry but that didn’t stop me from loving this story and love following along on the Journey that Keri Ann and Jack are on. I cheered them on when things worked out and felt bad for them when things didn’t. I really loved how the story ended and was super happy with the way things worked out.
I gave Forever, Jack 4/5 Stars this is really a great series, I enjoyed this book and found myself thinking about the characters after I stopped reading, I loved how she did the POV of the characters I have never seen it done quite like this. I had a very hard time putting this book down, I love a book that can bring out emotions in me whether its frustration or happiness, with this book I got both. I really look forward to reading a lot more from this amazing author, Natasha Boyd.
Great reviews! I love the sounds of this series. Jack seems like a great character even if he can be frustrating at times. The romance itself also sounds honest and real, and I love it when a sequel can be just as good as book 1!
I think what I loved was that both books flow so well together it was just a no stop story. I kind of miss them now 🙂
