Week in READ-view is a post I have posted every Sunday telling what have I been up to during the week and I thought it would be great to link it with The Sunday Postโ€ฆ.The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Itโ€™s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
jss_aprilshowers_stitches straight purpleOne day I am going to do a WIR & SP and say it was a relaxing and productive week with no complications….but not this week ๐Ÿ™‚ Just crazy busy and again didn’t get as much done on the blog as I wanted to, however I did get a few posts up this week that were not scheduled. I am still a little behind on my review writing, I have a few to finish and I am hoping this week is a little slow at home so I can at least get the reviews done and I would like to get my current read finished by this weekend.

Books I read and Received

I finished Before the Fall by L.G. Castillo

Review has been posted since the book will be released tomorrow. I loved it 5 stars for me.

I am now in my COYER list and have been reading Camelot Burning by Kathryn Rose

Next The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings

I still have to decide what to read after this and since I don’t seem to have as much time to read as I had hoped I think for this months challenge I am going to do one book at a time.

This week I was SOOOOO excited to find out I was on the Blog Tour for a book called Cutlass by Ashley Nixon, I am so excited to read it, and itโ€™s one of those books you can’t get out of your head.

I was very excited to win Mine to Tanish from Feed Your Fiction Addiction I already have You Are Mine that I plan to review in April and I was happy to win this one now I can read them back to back!

I received a gift from Patty Maximini this week as a Thank You for doing an Author Spotlight for her which will be posted on Wednesday

jss_aprilshowers_stitches straight purpleWhat else is going on?

Not much excitement this week just the normal everyday busy, Thank goodness! Since the weather is hopefully taking a shift to the better and fingers crossed no more snow it will be nice to be able to get out of the house or at least open the windows and let the fresh air in. Fresh air always clears my head and I think the winter has made my head all stuffy and depressed. Plus it would be nice to do a good spring cleaning in the house and get all the stale air out. Fresh and Clean. I think I might be in super spring mode ๐Ÿ™‚ I believe it’s about 14 days till Spring. I really can’t wait, that also means my sons allergies comes back but they only last a couple weeks and then it’s smooth sailing till summer when I think I read the most.

So tell me what have you been reading and up to this week?

Let’s Chat…

Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!

Happy Reading

  1. I’ve started to realise how much dedication it actually takes to run a blog. I’m trying to pre-write posts but even for this one has to find the timeโ€ฆI’ve heard a lot of good things about Before The Fall, and your review is adding to it, so sounds like a book to get.
    Thanks for stopping by ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I’m curious to see what you think of Camelot Burning, the cover looks really good. A nice relaxing week with lots of blogging time does sound pretty good, too bad those don’t happen enough right?

I’m with you on spring, fed up with winter and ready for spring air and some outdoor time.

    • I am jealous lol. I want to do one room at a time but it’s just not warm enough to open the window! I’m hoping next week will be the last of the cold weather! Fingers crossed lol

  3. When you get spring, could you send it to Michigan? PLEASE!!! I hope this week slows down for you a little bit! At least you have some posts scheduled so that’s good, right??

You are Mine looks really good…. I like the simple cover! I think I’ll check on that one ๐Ÿ˜‰ So many other pretty books, too!

    • I will send it over as soon as it arrives. My Hubby and I were just watching the news and it’s going to snow/mix this week. I want to cry lol.
I did schedule but I am very behind and I want to be ahead with my post. Might be the stale air in the house is making my brains cloudy ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Before the Fall looks interesting. Seems like I saw that somewhere else this week. I’m definitely looking forward to spring myself. Husband and I did a lot of outside projects yesterday. It was so nice! Have a great week!

    • I am looking forward to getting my garden done. I didn’t do it last year but this year I want to do it for sure. Now that the kids are a little older I can have them help me and it will be nice to get outside for some fresh air

  5. I have been having a lot of crazy busy weeks too :(.

I have read mine to tarnish, it was a nice prequel, but I still haven’t found time to read You Are Mine. I am so crazily busy with review books and I am not reading a lot, so I don’t have much time to read any book beside review books.

we are having some spring weather today, it’s pretty warm and my sister is even going to a BBQ today. It’s crazy how in a few days it suddenly got so warm and we had a mild winter, so I am a bit afraid how hot this summer wis going to be.

    • I am hoping now that spring is coming things will start to slow down and once the summer comes I am extremely laid back so I am hoping to catch up on everything then.
I need to get a new grill a BBQ sounds fantastic, haven’t had steaks on the grill since summer. Now I want some ๐Ÿ™‚ I wish we had a mild winter, it is suppose to get cold again by the end of the week, I just want warm weather already.

I am rather excited about You are Mine, I have been wanting to read it just never got the chance but when the author offered it to me I couldn’t say no!

      Thanks for stopping by ๐Ÿ™‚

      • I hope things will slow down a bit soon too. Although the next few weeks will probably be still a bit busy. I have two dentist visits coming up and my mom’s wedding is this month.

I am not a big fan of BBQ, but I usually BBQ at least once or twice a year. I wish we had some snow this winter, it just doesn’t feel winter without the snow and cold. And there probably will be a lot of insects and mosquitoes around this summer, due to the mild winter. I am alergic for mosquito bites ๐Ÿ™

I am looking forward to hear what you think of You Are Mine ๐Ÿ™‚

        • Last year we had a very mild winter and the bugs were bad but not to bad. Just hope it’s not really hot. I am more of a Fall/spring girl. I love to BBQ but my dad is the master of it, he makes so much yummy stuff, I can’t wait lol
I wont lie I HATE the dentist so good luck on your visit! and CONGRATS to your mom!!!

          • I am more of a fall/spring girl too. I love the spring how everything feels fresh and all the plants become green again. It always makes me feel happy and I love the fall colours.

And I totally hate the dentist too :(, this friday it’s only cleaning my teeth so hopefully that won’t be to bad. The monday afterwards will be a lot of cavities that are getting fixed and I probably end up with a numb mouth for the rest of the day.

Thanks :), I am curious how her wedding will turn out. She has been very secretive about what she’ll be wearing and what the dinner will consist of.
