Week in READview:

On & Off the Blog:

The last few weeks have been rather “normal”…I have been working a lot between my day job, my side job and Limabean Designs, I am keeping myself busy however Limabean Designs could use a few more clients *hint hint* 😀 I am excited about how things are going. I also have some ideas for pulling in more local clients and also linking it with my side job to benefit them too but first I need to get through cheer season and we only have two more comps left to do Next weekend we will be in Nashville and then end of May we travel to Florida to the big cheer comp. I love watching her cheer but I can’t wait for the break of a few months. The season will start again in September.

The weather is finally taking a turn, while I do love the cold weather, I am looking forward to the Spring. It will be so nice to start working on the yard and getting it ready for the outside BBQ Season. I hate summer…like HATE it but I am looking forward to enjoy the Spring months and maybe a little bit of the early summer. I can do without the heat of August.

This week Can you read a series in a month will post for April. It’s one of my favorite challenges and I can’t wait to see if maybe…just maybe I could participate this time around….,maybe 🙂 Also sorry for the delayed Sign Up Post. You can find it on Monday.

Read & Currently Reading:

I’m still reading this, guess how many books I have read this year? NONE! Yup I am slumping hard.

What I am watching:

The Rookie, I am loving this series. It is just too good. I also need to get back into 911 but I really want to binge the rest of the season. I hate waiting lol. I ALSO started watching Cobra Kai. I only did a few episodes but I feel like I need time to focus on it and might want to try watching it with my husband which could be a fun watch just us.

Just a reminder….

  1. I’m with you on being reading for spring, and also not liking summer. I love spring and fall, but summer in Virginia is just too darned hot! Also humid, yuck. But I’m looking forward to enjoying our new deck whenever it’s cool enough.

The thing that can usually get me out of a reading slump is rereading a book I love, but I know that doesn’t work for everyone. I hope you get past your slump soon. Sounds like you have a lot of demands on your time, though!

  2. yes I’m not a summer fan but the tomatoes and basil love it. July and August I stay indoors more if the heat and humidity get too high. Right now though is prime veggies growth time for my cool crops. Berls and I have already set our plans for SIAM.

  3. I’m with you on hating summer! Summer seems to last forever here in the Midwest so I HATE it! Because it’s not your typical happy summer, it’s 90+ degrees with a heaping of humidity and it lasts foreverrrrrr!! Everyone else in this state seem to love it and look forward to it and I’m just blech! Lol. Looking forward to fall which is a loooooong way off, like mid-late October as summer sticks around longer than it’s supposed to!

Ooh I hope you’re enjoying your current read! This is my next read and I am sooo looking forward to it! The author is coming to my city for the release of the second book so I am trying to get the first one read beforehand!

    Happy Reading!
