On & Off the Blog:
HOLY Crap the last 3 weeks has been insane. End of School for both my kids, I got a car and I GOT A JOB!!!!! That is right, I got a job. I had two interviews the week of June 6th and on June 9th decided to take a leap and leave Barnes and Noble. I just couldn’t do it anymore and working for no money was not worth it. I am so glad I did that. The second job that called me after finding me on Linkedin, was the perfect job. It is a printing company and I am lead graphic designer. I started full time this week and it is crazy busy but I FINALLY feel normal again. The hours are 8-5 the commute is the same as my old job and it is about 7 minutes away from it. The print shop is super small and the area around the shop is cute and has lots of stores and places to eat. I am excited for this new chapter, I am also nervous because the shop is busy and I got thrown in with no training about the shop but I am sure my 25 years of working experience will come in handy. I just need to be more confident in what I am doing and take the initiative in my roll.
Reading and Blogging has taken a back seat but I am hoping in a couple weeks I will be back again to my normal routine of finding days to do a little bit of blogging. I also have an hour lunch so that is perfect for reading. Need to start menu planning again. Going to take me a bit to get back into a routine that works but now that the kids are out of school that should make it a little easier. September will be a completely different story.
So hopefully things will start to go back to normal soon, might even take my laptop to work since an hour is a good amount of time to get some blogging or design stuff done. I’ll have to think about that 🙂

Well I already said it, but I’ll say it again SO HAPPY FOR YOU! And yeah that hour lunch break can be so productive. I don’t really take a lunch break working from home, but I also don’t necessarily work a full 8 hours. XOXO
