Week in READview:
Real life & Blogging:
This week was crazy busy at work and by the time I got home I had a few design projects to do so the blog was a bit quiet. I am still hoping to get some stuff done for this week but it’s our (my husband, 25th and me, 28th) birthday weekend. This is our first weekend at the shore and we are trying to enjoy ourselves as much as we can. June is going to be a busy month with graduation, parties and end of school stuff.
Kids are out of school at the end of June and I am looking forward to it. I am so tired of making lunches at 5 am lol. My son has the summer program but I usually only send him 3 days since him and I worked out a compromise. He didn’t want to go at all but I felt he needed the routine so 3 days is better than none and also better than 5. Still have to get up at 5 but it will only be for 3 weeks in July.
What I am watching:
I thought I would be finished with Rizzoli and Isles but I am just starting the 6th season, wasn’t able to watch as much this week but I really did miss this show. I am loving watching it again since most of it I don’t remember. 🙂
Challenges & Readathons:
You still have plenty of time to sign up for COYER. It starts on Saturday and I am really excited about it. This is going to be a fun challenge.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, Summer Registration is now open for the Reading Assignment. It’s ok if you didn’t sign up for Spring you are still welcome to join in. Each Semester is different so you can sign up at each registration. You can find all the info for Summer. HERE
Books
Reading:
One of us is Lying was really good, I loved the narrators and the mystery. I am so glad I decided to read that one when Killing November wasn’t working for me (wasn’t a fan of the narrator) I should be done with my Series in a Month challenge and almost finished with my current read. I have one more to read after it. Since they are quick, I should be finished before June 1st! The Royally Screwed Series is fantastic, I really enjoyed it and just found out another one is being released.

Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!
Happy Reading

Not having to make lunches is so nice! We just got out and I think not having to do that is my absolute favorite. Have a great week!
Happy Birthday to you and hubby, enjoy your weekend away.
Have a great reading week
The owl cannot reach you. Prepare; they lie in wait. LOL
Happy birthday! I hope you were both able to relax and chill together for your birthdays. 🙂
I can’t wait to read One of Us is Lying! And awww, happy early birthday! I hope you and your hubby have fun!
And my ominous statement is: The crows do not know you. So look away: they too have teeth.
We Hunt the Flame looks so good 😀
Busy Week! Happy Birthdays to both of you
I hope this upcoming week is fun. Heh yay for no more lunches at 5 am!
Our academic year doesn’t finish until the end of July here in the UK, so we only have August to keep them entertained. 😉 I certainly wont miss the early mornings, luckily I’m up at 6am rather than your 5am. I do’t know how you manage, Michelle!
Mine is: The caves cannot reach you. Prepare, they too have teeth.
Hope you have a great week. x
Oh Wow that is a late year. It’s amazing how different schools lengths are.
I look forward to getting up later but I have to wait a while for that. It is rough.
Caves with teeth, I think I’ll pass lol
Happy birthday!! Hope you guys have a great weekend at the shore.
I’m definitely a McManus fan now, both of her books I’ve read have been great.
Ooh I love generators- I got Your Enemies Are Gone When You Look Away. Prepare: they, too, have teeth. Yikes!! 🙂
Thank you! it is a nice week but HOT today.
I am a fan also, I am excited for the next book.
Yikes is right! This one my be my favorite generator.
The trees are not what they seem so look away they lie in wait. (That is kinda creepy!)
I managed to finish my Read A Series In A Month series this week! I was so proud of myself, lol. It was a good one too. 🙂
That is a good one! Very creepy!
YAY! That is awesome! I have one more book to go and I should have no problem finishing it. We do it again before the end of the year. 🙂
I loved One of Us is Lying too Michelle! Karen comes at YALC London this summer and I can’t wait to meet her! Now compromising with your kids will be a constant in the coming years I am afraid LOL
That is so awesome that you are going to meet her! I really did like the book.
He made a good choice, we figured it was easier and it was only 3 weeks. He did it last year and it worked. Lack of routine tends to mess him up so I hope he isn’t to overwhelmed .
Hope your having a fun time at the shore!! So I think I have gave up on most of the challenges I said I was going to be doing this year since my reading hasn’t just gone how I hoped. 🙁 Though I am doing COYER, you will see that most of my monthly ones have falling by the wayside when I do my monthly report. 🙁 I knew I shouldn’t have signed up for all of them…lol.
It’s nice here and the weather is really nice.
I just stuck with the ones I co-host and the other two I picked sort of fizzled out. I hope to get back into them but not pushing myself, however with a challenge I tend to read a lot more. I can’t wait for COYER to start. I have to work on the list this week. I am a touch behind. 🙂
Enjoy the shore!! This is my last week of school (teaching). I can’t imagine making it until the end of June.
You must start early. Our schools don’t start until September so they get out later.
Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones though I am seeing the second book around a lot! I hope you enjoy them both! Getting up at isn’t so bad. The trick is trying to go to bed early to compromise, but yeah. I know not everyone is a morning person!
Happy Reading!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
For some reason I am good with anytime after 6am but no matter what time I go to sleep, I just can’t seem to wake up at 5 lol
We Hunt the Flame is one of my most anticipated reads this year. I can’t wait to read it.
