Books:

I grabbed a few books this week. One was a book box book but I wont say which box just incase you get it. I also grabbed Bloody Rose since I already have the first book and this one was on sale for $2.99. I also got a new proper romance that seems like a really great read. I am in a weird reading mood and worried I wont finish my TBR list book this month but I am planning to start it so I might just have an update post for it with a what I think so far if I am not finished by next Saturday.

Real life & Blogging:

The weather is STUPID and I hate it. This week we had a heatwave and I am pretty sure my skin melted off my body, I am better now. Last weekend we took a trip to the furniture store to get a new couch since ours broke. It was 14 years old and it was bad timing but we needed a new one. I had my eye on one that I was just so in love with. It was a couch and a oversized chair and ottoman. I was worried it was gone since before we went I didn’t see it on the website. As soon as I walked in the store I was so in love. The couch is so comfy and the chair is totally my chair. My reading, blogging, design and gaming spot, now I just need to work on my husbands choice of TV watching. I added pictures of what it looks like in the just for fun section.

Working a lot behind the scenes of the blog but mostly on paper and getting stuff ready for September. I am hoping to get some blogging stuff done with week or at least starting to prep the stuff I have on paper into drafts. The blog will continue to be quiet but I do have a few things that will pop up in the next few weeks.

What I am watching:

Since I was listening to an audio book I wasn’t watching anything. Now that I have my big comfy chair I am hoping to binge watch more and maybe even get my husband to watch some shows with me.

What I am playing:

The Sims is still the object of my obsession, I am so in love with building houses and lots. If I can get some more pictures I will share them next week. Some of the houses even have me impressed with my sim building skills. 🙂

Just for Fun:

  1. Buying a couch is not easy! My husband and I have such different comforts. He loves recliners and I don’t like reclining but like having my feet up. Your couch would have been perfect! I’m scouting for a reading chair very similar to that to go in my little reading nook. Just one more thing that still needs done after the move.

I hope your plans for September are shaping up. I just had a fantastic idea pop into my head and I need to sit down and work out the details. I can’t wait to see what you have stewing! 🙂
