My little girl was sick for the first two days of this week and thankfully she is a lot better now. I had hoped when I took the day off to be with her I could get some stuff done. Do you know how hard it is to get stuff done when a little one is sick? She was very clingy so Monday I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped BUT I did organize my calendar and went through all my emails this week and I am all caught up! Yay!!! Plus I was able to set-up a few posts so I am kind of ahead…. however I do have a lot more to do but I am just so happy I got this far and it feels great 🙂 I also had a MAJOR Book Hangover this week that I haven’t had one this bad in a while. The Murder Complex was AMAZING, I am not sure I will be able to recover but I have to try lol

My To-Be Read List (later in the day)
I had a GREAT reading week. I was able to finish 2 books and got one review done and posted.
Trying to write the next review but I am having such a hard time since the book was AMAZING!!!
I wrote the review for this and I thought it was pretty good but very confusing
you can check out my review here.
TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY, Having such a hard time trying to find the right words to write the review.
It was so good, I’m not sure I can ever find the words to describe it but I will come up with something,
review wont be ready until maybe next week or the week after.
This COYER I picked some great reads and most have been amazing looking forward to reading the rest, I hope to read at least 2 more before it’s over 🙂
I got these two books this week from Edelweiss
And I got these from Netgalley (I really need to stop)
I also got this book for a review tour I am soooo excited 🙂
What else is going on?
Well I am still waiting for spring, this week on Thursday it was so bitter cold and windy it actually hurt to be outside. Saturday was beautiful but I spend most of the day grocery shopping and tonight I plan get some reading done since out original plans fell though. We were hoping to watch Frozen tonight but like a jerk I didn’t realize it is only available to buy On-Demand and not rent. I had one very disappointed little girl so we are hoping it’s available next week. I felt so bad because she was really looking forward to it and all ready. It was heartbreaking seeing her so disappointed. (bad mommy) 🙁
Today is Corned Beef and Cabbage day at my mom’s house, we have it every year and it just so happens to be the first meal my husband ever had with my family when we were dating so it’s almost a tradition now.
We are very big WWE Wrestling fans in this house and we enjoy the pay per views once a month and they can get very expensive. My son had been begging me for the WWE Network and since WrestleMania is coming up in two weeks we thought we would get it so we can try it out. The kid’s love it however my husband and me feel that it missing all the content they promised it would have. We got the contract for 6 months and if just for the Pay per view events we are saving 600 bucks a year so regardless I think it might be worth it just to keep for the PPVs.
So far this looks like a nice quiet week to get some stuff done and I am really looking forward to it and hoping to read as much as possible.

I’m glad to hear that The Murder Complex was so good! I’m excited to read this. I’m also looking forward to Don’t You Forget About Me and After the End. I love that cover for Amity – I’m hoping the story is as creepy as the cover.
Getting things done while having a little one sick around you is almost impossible, you did fairly well ! And you had some great covers among your books, I love Don’t you forget about me with the branches – and I’m intrigued by the Murder complex. Have a great week 🙂
The Murder Complex sounds great! Looking forward to your review on this one when you get your feels on paper 🙂
Hardest one I have ever had to write lol.
Glad your daughter got better! :3
I just finished Camelot Burning ^_^
I can’t wait to read your review!!
Drool, drool, drool! Let’s see…I know Murder Complex is one that I’m definitely interested in, and Deep Blue has been everywhere, it seems.
I hope you’ll enjoy all these wonderful looking books!
**wipes drool from blog** lol 🙂 I was surprised I got approved for Deep Blue and I also have seen it around a lot but haven’t read any reviews for it.
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
So glad your daughter’s feeling better, sorry you couldn’t watch frozen though. I love that movie – maybe best disney princess movie to date. AS in, I plan to buy it.
Whoa, I think I’m rubbing off on you – that’s a lot of books you grabbed from Netgalley 😉
I KNOW!!!! I wasn’t planning on getting that many and I don’t even remember what happened, I was on and then they were on my kindle. 😉
It comes out tuesday and my mom is getting it for her so I am hoping we will see it on Wednesday, the poor little girl has been DYING to see it and every time I say yes something happens so fingers crossed she sees it wednesday 🙂
I can’t wait to hear how The Murder Complex is. It sounded so cool.
I know what it’s like to have sick little ones. My son is 4 and was crook this week… took himself off to bed, so I had some quiet time!
Enjoy your new reads…. you’ve picked up some cool ones!!
Thanx for visiting My Weekly Wrap-Up!

You’ve intrigued me with The Murder Complex; I can’t wait to read your review. I’m glad your daughter is feeling better. Happy reading!
I am curious about Amity, and have the Murder Complex..I cannot wait to read it, as I have heard good things. Yep, little sick ones do not a productive day make, but they soon no longer need us..so enjoy those little moments.
Book hangovers are so bad and yet so good. lol Glad you daughter is feeling better. And yay for being caught up! I’m working on that part myself. Have a great week!
This was a very good hangover lol.
We’re waiting for the Frozen DVD too, our kids can’t wait to see it again. The Murder Complex sounds really good, will check out your review. Isn’t it funny how some reviews are easier to write than others?
Yes and this one might be short and sweet lol I tried this morning and had overload. I’ll try again tonight
Glad to hear your daughter is getting better. Man, I don’t know what I would do if I weren’t scheduled in advance. I find it so much less stressful that way. Congrats on getting ahead. Man, book hangovers. I both love and hate them. It’s been a while since I had a read big one though I think I had a mini on this week too. I’ll be adding The Murder Complex to my TBR list. Hope you have a great week!

Thank you! It stinks to be behind but my kids keep me on my toes and it prevents me from doing a lot of the advance schedules.
I am still feeling the Hangover lol I do hope you get a chance to read it I kind of hope you have a hangover too lol 🙂
OOoh nice! These are new to me! Seen a few around though! Did read After then End it was definitely interesting! Hope you enjoy all your new reads!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
It really looks interesting, I am looking forward to reading it 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!!!!
I am sorry to hear your little girl was sick, but good to hear she’s feeling better already!
I also got in a reading slump this week, after I finished Face Time by SJ Pajonas, I eventually picked up a book by one of my favourite authors and that got me out of it. I might have to add the Murder Complex to my to-read list, I am looking forward to read your review of it!
You got Camp Boyfriend and Camp Payback! I loved Camp Boyfriend and have Camp Payback pre-ordered already, I considered requesting it form netgalley, but I decided to wait till my paperback copy arrives.
The last week the weather here has been nice, I even sat outside on our balcony one morning to read. We also had a cold day with so much fog we couldn’t see the other side of the road.
I hate slumps I did that in january and it was awful. I am having such a hard time writing the review for The Murder Complex because it was that good lol. Going to try working on it tonight.
I have been wanting to read Camp Boyfriend for some time now, I was so glad I noticed it on Netgalley. I will probably get the novellas after I read the first one. Very excited about it 🙂
I just want this weather here to STOP being so crazy, It’s suppose to snow on monday but I am hoping it stays to the south of us and we just get nothing. I want to sit outside 🙂
I know that feeling, writing reviews for books you loved is so difficult. It took me quite some time to write my review for Face Time, because I loved it so much and just couldn’t find the right words to describe everything I thought of it.
The Camp Boyfriend novella’s are free on the publisher’s website or 0.99$ on amazon and are certainly worth the read, they just add something to the series. I hope you enjoy Camp Boyfriend :).
Snow again there :(, wow the weather has been crazy in the US this year. We’ve had this mild winter, but I am still happy it’s spring again. I already took a few walks and just looking outside and see all the trees getting leaves again is so wonderfull. I always feel happy when it just becomes spring :).
I am so excited to start reading my copy of Deep Blue…I can’t wait! And I just requested Amity since it looks so good, so I’m waiting to see if I get approved (fingers crossed!)! Happy Reading! Here’s my STS if you’d like to stop by…..
I can’t wait to read Deep Blue, I have never read a mermaid book before so I am excited this will be my first. Amity looks pretty good, My fingers are crossed you get apporved 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!!!
