First Impression:
I couldn’t pass up reading this one as soon as I was finished with the first. I really love the world and the characters. This is such a great fantasy and I couldn’t wait to see how it ended.
The Story & Characters:
The flow of the book is great, however, I felt it was a little slower than the other. This book is in two POVs Lia and Kelven. I actually liked having the two POVs and I thought it helped flow the story but at some points I wanted to see more of what was happening with Lia than Kelven. The story picks up where the last left off and you get more of a back story about the characters and what is going on but I was still feeling a little disconnected with some of them. I loved the struggle that Lia was having and I enjoyed the adventure both Kelven and Lia are on together. They have good chemistry and again the romance was a more set in the background but you still got enough of it to satisfy you because you want to see them together.
Final Thoughts:
Overall I really enjoyed this book, I loved the world build and even with little connection to the characters I still actually enjoyed them.This is a great fantasy read and both books are wonderful. I almost wished there would have been one more but I was very happy with how this ended.

Sometimes that happens to me to with multiple point of views that I like one of them better than the other. I didn’t realize this series was only two books long. I am glad to hear the ending was good 🙂
