I will be traveling today so I will visit everyone when I get home.
Another quiet week of nothing good happening, but next week my little one starts school again so I am all ready for the crazy of school time. My son doesn’t start until the 8th so he can complain that he is bored for another week until he complains that he hates school and wants to be home.
I kind of just want the summer to be over already, this weekend we went down the shore and next weekend we will do it again, which is like the close of summer for us but I just want to stay home. I feel like I can’t get anything done when I am down at the Duck House (as my kids call it) the internet is slow and there is not a lot of places to go to be quiet. My mom talks to me ALL DAY and the kids want to go to the pool so I am not usually home and can’t get a lot done. I won’t have a Sunday Post next weekend since I won’t be home. So those in the US have a safe and happy Labor Day weekend!
I was doing ok with not requesting book and then Harper Collins had to go an put a bunch of Edelweiss and since I have NO SELF CONTROL I grabbed a few. There are still a few more that I want to grab but need to think about it.
My blogging stuff is going very good and as you can see next week is a very busy week. I am very excited for it. I also found a way to come visit during the week so be prepared to get some comments and shares on twitter from me. I have missed you all 🙂
I read my first Monster Porn this week (I am not adding it below because I still turn bright red when I think about it). It was weird and I now feel dirty. After checking out SOMEONE’S Monster Porn Monday post I got curious about how many books like that are there (a lot apparently). Since I have a free trial of Kindle Unlimited one just sounded so interesting and I just needed to know, I really wish I didn’t but I did it anyway. It was a collection of about 3 books only 71 pages total so I read the entire thing…at work….they must have thought I had a fever because I swear I was BEET RED all day. I original got KU for the erotica books, since I don’t normally read them, only when I need a genre change, I figured this was a perfect way to get my fix and move on. (that sounds naughty) I really couldn’t pass the idea of a girl having sex with a Teddy Bear, WHY, you ask? I have no idea I just needed to know but WOW I wasn’t expecting what I read. It was actually well done (I can’t believe I said that) and what an imagination this author has. SOMEONE might be a very bad influence on me but I do love the Monster Porn Monday Logo. 😉

I actually already have Never Never that I got at BEA but it’s a signed copy and I don’t want to ruin it so I got the netgalley version so I can keep the other one untouched (I do that a lot)

You almost make me want to collect Nutcrackers! Till I seen your cool pictures of nutcrackers I didn’t really know there was so many different kinds..lol. We both did bad this week between netgalley and Edelweiss…lol. I love checking out that certain SOMEONE’s Monster Porn Mondays just to see what they are about..don’t think I am as brave as you to try one though…lol. 🙂
I love nutcrackers! One of my favorite things about Christmas is getting out my nutcracker collection. I try to add at least one new one every year and I love your new one. Very cool! The Monster Porn – I can’t even. I didn’t really know that was really a thing but now I’m curious but am not sure those are images I want! That’s just too funny! I love that your son has a little bit longer to complain about being bored before complaining about school. This always drove me mad! Have a great week!
I always get one every year, but I have a feeling I will get more than one this year because I got that so early in the season.
It was a curious thing to explore and I have seen some weird ones and of course I found the weirdest one to read as my first one.
He drives me nuts but once school is back things will be better for him…I hope 🙂
I also will be happy when this summer has over, this wasn’t a good summer for me. I can imagine that when you are at the Duck House (lol at the name) it’s harder to get work done. The lack of quiet would really get to me.
I also had to no self control this week and got a lot of books, but it’s nice to have one of those weeks in awhile as well. I hope you’ll enjoy your new books!

I love going but after a couple of weeks I feel like all the stuff I could be doing has to wait and it just gets all backed up.
Edelweiss really messed me up and now I have a ton more to read than I did but I will get to them eventually. I hope to have a better reading schedule next year now that things with Ryan have calmed down.

I’m ready to move on here too I think, although I will miss summertime a bit. It flew by for one thing. LOL about time and blog- it does eat up pa lot of time but it’s kinda addicting, too. 🙂 Can’t believe its going to be Labor Day already- NEXT weekend. Yikes.
