My Review:
Cute story about second chance romance. The story revolves around Christmas but is more about two people that have found each other again.
Josie and Hunter were a cute couple but when Josie’s path in life was to get out of the town of Stonewall Crossing the relationship didn’t last. Josie is a popular author and illustrator of children’s books, books that she has written about her home town of Stonewall. In a bit of a slump and to help her father who is recovering from surgery, Josie returns back to town to work in her father’s bakery while he recovers. When Josie runs into Hunter again the sparks seem to be still there when she had thought they had completely died out. Hunter made a big mistake all those years ago and is now a single dad with a not very friendly ex wife. As they piece back together their lives and realize that maybe they still have a chance but can Josie win over Hunters son because those death looks he gives her makes things a lot more difficult. Now she has to choose whether to stay or leave again but can she break Hunters heart again and what about her own heart?
This was a really cute story and has some seriously funny moments. I loved Josie’s Dad he was so cute and really wanted to see Josie happy. I really enjoyed the relationship between Josie and Hunter, his son was a tad annoying but I can totally understand how he felt since most of his life his mom had nothing nice to say about Josie, so he formed his own opinion based on what she told him about her. It was nice how the story wrapped up and I really enjoyed it.
