My Review:
Somehow I found this web series about Sunshine and the creepy things that were going on in her house, I watched a few and really enjoyed the girl that played Sunshine, when I saw she has a book about the series on Netgalley I grabbed it right away. This book was not what I was expecting, I really enjoyed it but I think I was thrown off having only seen a few of the youtube video, I thought it was going to be about a haunting in her house, however, I wasn’t expecting it to be about supernatural powers and a hidden secret. I wasn’t disappointed I really enjoyed this book very much and I loved how the story was told and it was very interesting but I think I was hoping for a more scary ghost kind of story. Something that would make me question turning off the lights or being in the house alone.
Since I was already a fan of Sunshine because of the youtube video I already enjoyed her in the book so I knew I would love the character and I was at times very worried about her. I really like the relationship she has with her mom and I am cheering her and Noah on hoping they will make more of their relationship. The story ended leaving it open for another book and I am looking forward to reading it when it becomes available.
I think my tolerance for scary books is a lot higher than some so this might be creepy for some people and not for others but over all it is a very good read and would be happy to read more from her even if it’s not this series.

I want to read this one! I love the creepy sound of it with all the twists and the whole idea of the videos sounds fascinating. Now I’m off to go look those up!
Check out the youtube videos first because you get a better feel of who she is, the book she could come across as a little annoying but after watching the videos I get it 🙂
Sounds like an interesting read. I know my tolerance for creepy is way high, so I have a hard time finding anything to creepy me out or scary me…lol.
Like you this wasn’t as creepy as I wanted it to be but it was a really good read for Halloween 🙂

The youtube are creepier than the book but it was a good book. If you gets scared easy this might scary you a little and would have to keep the lights on lol
