#Review ~ The Misadventure of Bolingbroke Manor by Ellie Firestone

My Review:

I received this book for review from the author. She told me that it might be hard to review since it’s a choose your own adventure type of book so the ending changes depending on the choices you make. I sat and read this book with my daughter and my son. I found out while reading this that my son is less likely to take risks where as my daughter is very adventurous. This book is about you and a couple of friends exploring a house. You choose which way you want the story to go. The house is a creepy manor and they are looking for a ghost when one of your friends gets possessed you need to figure out what to do next. I wont give away the ends but my daughter and I were giggling a few times over the choices she picked.

This is a really fun book to read with kids and letting them choose which way to go. As a kid I always loved these books and read them often, It brought back lots of memories. This book is a very quick read but I think kids will have fun going through the story a few times to get to see the different ends. I highly recommend and it’s a perfect read during October something to get you in the spooky mood. 🙂
