Week in READview:

I am going to assume you all watch Julie and The Phantoms like I suggested, right?….RIGHT!!!! Don’t disappoint me people, go watch it. I made my daughter watch it and she walked into the kitchen, looked at me and said “Ok, it’s a really good show” I was screaming! I knew she would love it and now we are all girly giggling about how awesome the songs are.

Ok are you sitting down? I finished all my blog posts for this month! I also drafted 4 posts that I can’t finish until I read the books (review posts). Who the F&*# am I, right now! AND I am now working on posts for January. PLUS I read a few books this week! WHAT?!?! It’s like I’m a completely different person! lol I feel so accomplished. Now let’s see how long this last! 😀

I got my new 2021 planner and I am so excited to use it but I hate waiting! BUT I am so glad I waited this year to get it because now I only have 3 weeks to wait instead of 2 months like I did last year.

WINTER THEMED!!! I purchased it from Plum Paper and I love that you can personalize the pages, I added a few things that work for me and I am loving the Read/Reading section. I am set to be super organized next year. I am planning on spending some of today filling it in with birthdays and appointments I already know I have, so it’s all set up for when I am ready to use it on Jan 1st!

The weather is COLD and on Thursday we got our first chance of snow. It was a lake effect type of snow so it didn’t really stick on the roads but all the trees and grass was covered it looked pretty. It warmed up a little this weekend but next week we are suppose to get a storm Wednesday into Thursday but they haven’t said if it will be rain, snow, a mix and for how long. They will probably know more by Monday night. I honestly hope it is just rain, I hate when it snows and I have to go to work. Snow should only happen on the weekends. lol

Book News:

If I keep reading these short books I will make my goal for Goodreads but I will be cutting it VERY close. I will have the reviews for these up on Wednesday this week, since Monday starts the Holiday Hop. My next read will be my TBR List pick The House in the Cerulean Sea I have heard nothing but awesome things about the story so I am looking forward to it.

We did a facebook live last Sunday to explain all about COYER 2021 and answer questions. The video is up in the group if you are interested in joining and questions are always welcome. This COYER is going to be so big and has so many bits and pieces to it, it can be enjoyed by everyone.

  1. ack!! I’m so behind on visiting this week! But yay! We have a full December and are both working on January! Woot.

Lol about the planner – I’ve had that problem too, where I just want to use it. I started a Rocketbook Panda Planner so I can reuse and not have to buy new ones all the time. Plus, no waiting to use it 😉

Hope you’re having a great week!

  2. I am so glad you’re ahead. I had a couple posts ready to go and Blogger screwed them up- I went in and they were all jumbled, it was a mess. Blogger is making me PiSSED. lol And snow should DEFINITELY only happen on the weekends! Also it should look pretty on trees and grass but the roads should be absolutely clear. We need new rules. 🙂

    Anyway have an awesome week!

  3. Wow!! I love your banner. Sooo pretty! And how awewsome that you already got so far ahead with your posts and planning. That’s definitely also my goal this month.. but so far I’m not doing all to well. And I love the look of your planner.
Good luck with your Goodreads goal. You can do it 😉
Have a great week and happy reading!

  4. That is so great that you are having a good time blogging and reading. I have been trying to get it all set up for 2021 but not quite there yet. I’m very excited for COYER. (as usual) I’ve been enjoying the read 2020 stuff RAT. I love the planner. I use spreadsheets for a lot these days. Have a great week! See you later today!

  5. YAY for having a show in common with your daughter! That’s awesome, Michelle 🙂
We got snow here, too, but it didn’t even stick to the ground at all, it did look very pretty coming down, though.
Have a wonderful week ahead. I miss you so much! big hugs 🙂

  6. I can’t imagine having all my blog posts done for the year! That’s awesome. You are way more organized than me! Your winter planner is so pretty. I had no idea what COYER was and I’ve seen it around the blogosphere a bunch so I popped over to your post and finally got it, lol. I may have to join that. I wish I knew about the Holiday Hop! I would’ve joined that. Oh well, next time.

I will make my GRs challenge by next week, but I’m struggling to meet my audio book challenge. I’m trying to “read” a few novellas to help. Good luck meeting your challenge!

    • Best part about COYER this year is you can pick and choose what months you want participate in. I love the idea of being able to join in on whatever season fits your reading. The community is also a great place to hang even just for the readathons or book club. We have so much going on. We have a book club meeting today at 3pm est. Which is always fun,
I always try to squeeze in a few novellas at the end of the year but I am cutting it close this time.

  7. That’s awesome you have all your posts for the month done. I still have to schedule and finish some review posts and I hope to do a best of 2020 post that I haven’t even started on yet.

Your new planner looks great! Luckily it’s only a few more weeks till it’s January and you can start using it :).

    I hope you’ll have a great week!

  8. I fell so behind on things this year. I have read way more books than my Goodread reflects and I actually have to go through my books as making end of the year list to find book I just never reviewed. I am so horribly organized and wish planners worked for me but evidently you have to actually write things down for them to work…lol. I have a bullet journal and can’t seem to make sure everything gets put down in it, or reviewed! 🙁 I am blaming it on the year. 🙂 Good job on getting ahead!

Your reads made me roll my eyes at the titles…lol.

  9. I’m going to set up all my posts for the month this week, so I can take a little break for the holidays. You are definitely on top of things! I love the calendar/organizer. I’m such a collector of organizers. I always have been. Can never seem to find just the right one though. Hope you enjoy it! Have a wonderful week 📚

    • I have always wanted to make my own planner but I am so picky I am not sure how I want to make it. One of my goals is to make a book/blogging calendar, I have been working on it in my head for years, maybe one day I will put it to paper and design it.
I am so looking forward to a holiday break, I plan to spend at least one day being a big lump! l0l

  10. Iza

You’re so organized, and your planner looks absolutely great ! I’m ashamed to say I have given up on my Bullet journal, but I started a bookish one that I’m using daily (especially for keeping up with challenges). Keep the energy coming and have a fun week 😉

  11. Wow, you are super organized right now! I’m still struggling with all things blog related (including the reading) but there are signs of improvement so fingers crossed!

Good luck with the Goodreads goal! Unless I beast out more than 20 books in the next two weeks mine isn’t happening but you never know… I’ve pulled off weirder stuff. (Okay, I totally know. I’m just deluding myself.)
