Week in READ-view is a post I have posted on Sundays tell you what I have been up to this week and what I read or am reading. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Itโ€™s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Oh, Did you hear COYER is going on SUMMER VACATION. I am so excited and I can’t wait to share the news with you on May 21st. If you haven’t joined us for the Clean Out Your E-reader Challenge in March you are going to want to join us this summer. It’s going to be so much fun and Kim (Fantasy is More Fun) and I have some great ideas. I can’t wait to share it.

Other then that all has finally been quiet on the blog and being that I am ahead I have had more time to read. I am however a little behind at the moment since I took a day off work this week just to be a big lump. I really just needed a day to relax and do nothing and that is exactly what I did ๐Ÿ™‚

What else is going on?

Change is coming soon and I am very nervous about it. It’s what I have been waiting for that I mentioned a couple weeks ago. I still can’t say what it is until it happens because I’m not sure who reads this. I’m still very hopful that it will be for the better, so if for some reason you don’t see me around I might be dealing with a few things.

At the moment I am kicking myself for not going to BEA all week. I just didn’t have anyone to go with, my sister is coming with me on Friday but I really should have spent the money and went alone lol. I feel like I am going to miss so much just going on friday. Next year I don’t care if I have to go alone I am going all week. I am so jealous of those at RT and really need to try and go to that one too at some point. If it’s always in NOLA my husband said he would come with me. Yay.

I am off to go spend Mommy’s Day with my little people.
To all the Mommy’s I hope you have a very

  1. Can’t wait to hear your news Michelle, you do sound excited about it ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m glad you had a relaxing time off – I agree, that’s exactly what’s needed sometimes. I sometimes think I’m so antisocial for not wanting to do anything / go anywhere when I’m off, but that’s just what I need sometimes. And I do love the phrase ‘Big Lump Day’ – just perfect ๐Ÿ™‚

    • I am half and half about the change just hoping it’s good news and not bad. I am totlaly antisocial and I try so hard not to be, I just like to spend time by myself. ๐Ÿ™‚ so lump days are perfect for me lol

  2. I have lots of “big lump days” myself. This afternoon is turning into one. I just don’t feel like doing anything.

Nice little haul of books this weeks! I hope everything goes well with your “big changes” ๐Ÿ˜€ And enjoy yourself at BEA if I don’t visit before then!!!! JEALOUS!!!

    • I was actually thinking of doung a lump day on friday again because it’s going to rain but this house wont clean itself (sadly) Thank you the “big change” is actually coming soon then expected. So I will find out more tomorrow and might be able to share next week.

  3. Eeep! Glad you enjoyed Boneseeker – can’t wait to hear what you have to say *o*

But oy, everyone’s on vacation. Why am I still in school? Oh wait… thanks for the snow days Nature. -_-

  5. I look forward to joining the Coyer challenge. Let me know if you need any help or host challenges. I’m going to UtopYA alone this year and am extremely nervous but I’m just going to be brave and enjoy myself. Several authors have already messaged me their email and offers of meeting for dinner. So I don’t think you can really be alone at these events.

Next year I want to try to plan for at least two events. Maybe we can coordinate and meet up at one. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Happy Mother’s Day!

    • That would be cool ๐Ÿ™‚ i am going alone to BEA but I live in NJ so it’s not a far ride and I won’t need to stay over.

  6. Bea

Fingers crossed for you and your upcoming change. RT moves around to a different city every year, but maybe next year’s location will be one you can do.

I’m excited to hear about COYER’s summer vacation though my summer months are filling up fast. I hope I can fit it in.

    Happy Mother’s Day!

    • I hope you can fit it in it will be fun and very relaxed I can’t wait to tell the details!!! I would love to go to RT next year since then I can meet Kim from fantasy is more fun! I will have to see since next year is BEAs last year in New York ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m hoping change will be good to

  7. Enjoy Mother’s day! Days off are always nice, sometimes you just need some veg time. Good luck with what you have coming up, and I know how you feel about BEA. I had a convention I used to go to all the time, and when it became harder to go it was really hard to miss. Not attending something you enjoy (or only going for part of it) can be hard…

  8. I wasn’t able to join Coyer in march, but I hope I’ll be able to join this summer! Sounds fun! It’s nice to be able to read more, I’ve had a good week in terms of reading as well. And I finished reading all review books I had to read before a tour stop, so that really feels good and clears up my reading schedule a bit. I still have a big review book pile to read though.

I hope the change you mentioned will turn out to be a good change. I personally don’t like change either, but sometimes it’s for the best. Good luck with the change!

    • COYER should be really fun, kim and I came up with some fun ideas, I can’t wait to share it when she gets back from her trip. I have made a pretty good dent in my review reads also. I’m not taking anymore reviews until summer is over so I can focus on everything I currently have.

Thank you change is very scary and I am hoping this is a good one, god know we can use a good one ๐Ÿ™‚
