Week in READview:

On & Off the Blog:

This week was a pretty normal week, I was busy with design work and my son got his second dose on Thursday. Since they approved Pfizer for 12-15 I was able to get my daughter an appointment on Monday. So soon the entire family will be vaccinated and I am super excited. Still not changing much of our routine but I feel so much better now about going out with every one.

For mom’s day I got a bunch of books, Super excited about them and then on Saturday, my daughter and I took a run to Barnes and Noble to grab some Manga. We are a bit obsessed and have no self control, I just love having books on my shelf. It was a good week to grab some new friends. Going on a bit of a ban now for at least a couple of weeks….maybe 🙂

The weather has been so freaking weird this spring. I have no idea what to wear and by the end of the week, it was finally more Spring. I am not looking forward to Summer but I am glad that the weather seems to be finding a middle ground.

I will be back to my regular schedule this week for blogging. I have a post to do for Monday and then on Monday will do the rest of the weeks blog posts plus working on design stuff. I am trying to keep myself busy. I still need to finish my blog and finish updating my resume. So much to do, so little time.

Read & Currently Reading:

Might Read Next:

No sure just yet, I might want to read The Invisible Life of Addie Larue since everyone keeps screaming about it. lol

What I grabbed:

What I watched:

Still watching My Hero Academia with my daughter and I love it. I am going to be so sad when we are done, or I might have to watch it again. I finished the Documentaries Sons of Sam and The Last Blockbuster. Both really good. I am thinking of starting the Anime Black Butler but I am not sure if I want to read the Manga first, during or after.

  1. I can relate to having no self control. Will and I went on the Funko Pop website and things spun out of control! But we had fun. I’m so excited about the age dropping for the vaccine and how great that your kids will soon be vaccinated! I’m not sure if Will will be vaccinated when it drops to his age. With his immune system being so suppressed they’re kind of funny about what the kids get and what they don’t. Like they get flu shots (they actually have to get two) but other vaccines are held until after treatment so it’s kind of crazy. Have a great week!

  2. The vaccinations bring peace of mind, for sure. We feel a little more comfortable going out (still not entirely, but better) as rates rise and having been shot up haha. Although I’m still gonna be careful even with the CDC saying whatever they’re saying ha!

I’m the same with books- it feel so good to get something new! I love browsing around B&N…

Lost in the Never Woods looks amazing. Hope you have a great week Michelle.

  3. Our weather is going wonky lately as well. We’re about to enter a week of rain, so that ought to be fun! Lol.

Nice new reads! Lots of new to me ones. I still need to read the rest of The Diviners series! I am sooo behind on sooo many series!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

    • If it meant getting rid of the pollen I would take a week of rain but it is suppose to get super warm by the end of the week and that means my allergies are going to be insane!

Manga is a little new for me also but some I have seen are also Anime so I want t watch them. The books have been on my radar for a while so I am excited to finally have them, now just need to read them all! 🙂

  4. It has been super cold in the morning here-like frost advisories every night-but this week is suppose to warm up. Glad everyone in your family will soon be vaccinated! That is great news!
