Feeling much better but WHAT? More snow!!! ~WIR & TSP

WIR vectorstock_43821-1-1Week in READ-view is a post I have posted on Sundays telling you what I have been up to this week and what I read or am reading. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Real Life & Blog News:

So finally after about two week I am feeling much better, I still have a sore throat but I figure with a little Tea and Honey that will be good as new in no time but otherwise, I am back and ready to be as productive as possible.

This little sick break gave me a lot of time to think, I realized that now with no author spotlights I have nothing to really fill my weeks on the blog, not that I want to fill them every day but I need a reason for people to come visit. So this last week I did a lot of writing notes, so many notes that I have some great ideas and some original content coming in the next couple of weeks. With the Blizzard that never was in NJ I got the day off and it helped me out a lot with setting up posts and just getting my stuff organized to a point that if I can keep this up I will have original content, memes, reviews and challenge updates filling up my months in no time plus a blog tour and a blitz here or there. I have already scheduled a bunch of posts for Feb and now moving into setting stuff up for March. I am really excited with the direction my blog is going and I think this minor change will be a really good thing. My favorites so far are the App Reviews but I can’t wait for you all to see some of the posts.

It’s going to snow again and with last weeks BUST of a Blizzard we still got a good 10″ of snow, nothing like our friends up North (Boston area) but this storm coming looks like it will hit us with a good 6 to 12 more inches of snow than a mix of mushy shit, Yay! *rolls eyes* I might be looking at another day off on Monday then it is suppose to get VERY cold the next couple of days. As much as I love the cold weather and snow, I can not take this Bitter cold, I think I am ready for Spring already πŸ™‚

  1. Glad you’re feeling better, and I hope your throat heals up soon. And I envy you the snow, a little. We don’t seem to get anything but rain down here. Here’s hoping you get another day off.

  2. I have Get Even on my TBR list so I will be looking forward to your thoughts on that one! We are in the midst of a winter storm right now with the possibility of 15 inches. Fun times! I’ve shoveled twice and really need to go out again but don’t want to. LOL! I wish that I could get scheduled at least a week ahead but I never have the motivation to get all of those posts written. Have a great week!!!

    • I really liked Get Even and it had a huge cliff hanger so I can’t wait to read Get Dirty, I have a few books to read before I get to it but I might not be able to wait.

You should try Bloggiesta, I always kicks me into a productive mood. I think the next one is in march. I finally am a month ahead I need to keep it that way.

  3. So glad you’re feeling better! I tagged you in my 20 Questions posts, so you could answer them and have another post. Just sayin’. hehehe I’ll wing some {{{posivibes}}} your way for not too much snow. I look forward to your new posts. I’m always thinking I need some new stuff, but then I just keep going with what’s working for me. Like Monster Porn Monday *snort* Maybe some day. πŸ™‚

    • I keep missing your Monster Porn, I need to go back and catch up on the ones I missed they always crack me up!
I didn’t see that I have to go look or if I did I was too loopy to remember lol

Thank you for the vibes but regardless I think it’s going to be a bunch of mushy shit! πŸ™

Thanks for stopping by Carol! ox

  4. My boss was sick and I pretty much wanted to spray him with Lysol because I did not want to get sick again! The cold temps are KILLING me it’s just so cold today and this week isn’t going to be any better. Hope you are staying warm in your area!

  5. Glad to hear you’re feeling better. I had the cold that wouldn’t die this summer and hated it. It just takes so long to feel better because you need to rest to feel better but of course you can’t take the time to rest! Glad you didn’t get the blizzard though 10 inches of snow still sounds pretty intense! We only have 1 salt truck and snow plow for the county so when we get even a couple of inches the entire town shuts down! Have a great week!

    • Our area of town is like the section the town forgot. They never plow or salt our street and if they do come this way it’s like they don’t even try lol. My driveway can fit 9 big vans in it so it’s a pain in the neck to shovel. My dads business use to be in the back but since he retired the girl downstairs and us have to shovel this big ass driveway lol. So 10 inches was a lot!

  6. I am glad to hear you’re feeling better, hope you get rid of that sore throat soon as well.

Looking forward to all those posts you are planning. I did some nice blogging this weekend as well and got 3 new Lola’s Ramblings posts scheduled. I like those blog tours and book blitzes to fill up open slots.

I like seeing snow, but I hate having to travel with snow. We got one day of snow this week, but it’s gone already again.

Nice haul! I really want to get Three Two One as well, but I haven’t grabbed my copy yet.

    • When I originally got sick I didn’t have a sore throat and then once it was gone the sore throat appeared lol. It’s weird

I always enjoyed blog tours and blitzes not sure why I stopped but I figured a few a month isn’t that bad and it’s nice to help promote πŸ™‚

I HATE driving in snow and ice, I have my fingers crossed it doesn’t do what they say

Thanks for stopping by Lola! oxox

  7. I’m glad you’re feeling much better, Michelle! And I can’t wait to see the new ideas you’ve come up with for the blog πŸ™‚ You inspire me, and made me take the leap for an original feature on my own blog as well πŸ™‚

YAY you read 321… I hope you enjoyed it! I can’t wait to read your review.

Have a fantastic Sunday and happy reading.

    • Original posts are hard for me since I am not a good writer and I lack real confidence in what I do so I am nervous but excited.

I just got 321 so I haven’t read it yet but I totally blame you and brandee for making me get it πŸ™‚ your reviews had me thinking I need to read them!

Thanks for stopping by Lexxie! oxox

    • Yes I was convinced lol I am doing a blitz for it also so I figured why not. I like Erotica but it has to be done right and I hear a lot about her so I figured I would try it out.

I have my fingers crossed this storm this week is a bust too but I guess we will see πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by Laura! oxox

  8. Some of the pics I have seen of the blizzard are a trip, hope you guys don’t get hit too hard this week. Your new stuff sound good, looking forward to that- and you got Get Dirty! Jealous… can’t wait to see what you think of. Enjoy!

    • It just missed up but we did get a good 8 inches and it was a pain to shovel πŸ™‚
I swear when I saw it on Edelweiss you were the first person I thought of lol. I screamed I was so excited. Like you I really enjoyed the book and I can’t wait to see what happens to the girls, this one looks so good!

      Thanks for stopping by Greg!

    • Thanks Kim! OMG I know Poor Boston really got slammed last week! I think I am just tired of it begin so unclear. Like we might get 6-12 then it changed to 4-8 and then it’s squishy snow.

It really is a nice feeling being ahead just can’t let it get to my head and need to keep up otherwise I will be behind again lol

Thanks for stopping by Kim! ox
