Week in READ-view is a post I have posted on Sundays telling you what I have been up to this week and what I read or am reading. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Itβs a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Real Life & Blog News:
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!
It went by so fast but I loved every minute of it, had such a wonderful Christmas and looking forward to ringing in the new year. This is the last Week in Read-view and The Sunday post of 2014!
The kids were so very happy and they loved everything Santa brought. My son said it was the best Christmas ever which is confirmation that Santa did a good job.
We eat lots of food and had so much fun spending time with the family, I hate that it is over so quickly. We also spent Friday with My Nanny for her 92nd Birthday. She was so surprised to see us all there it was a great day.
I didn’t get much for Christmas but My mom got me these really cute PJ’s and Awesome socks plus I got a $50 GC to Amazon. My husband and I didn’t exchange but we are going to go to dinner in the next couple of days to have some adult time, we save Christmas for the kids and being together as a family. It’s really my favorite part.
But here is the PJ’s and socks my mom got me. She knows me so well π
I was planning to stay away from the blog until the 2nd but I changed my mind and missed it to much lol. Plus I have a lot I want to do so I figured a week is more than enough time because now I am super duper behind, so back to business π
COYER is in full swing and I will be getting back into chatting and visiting for it this week. The last 3 days I haven’t read anything, I am hoping to change that this weekend and next week. I miss reading π
You still have time to sign up for the 2015 Reading Assignment Challenge, so make your lists and link up. It will be a really fun challenge, I am so excited for it since the books I picked I can’t wait to read!
You also have time to make those New Years Bookish Resolutions and Join us as we try to accomplish them together with the 2015 Bookish Resolutions Challenge. I am very excited to get started with these.

I don’t know yet, I have a few choices and I’m not sure how I want to start 2015 it will either be one of my reading assignment books (that doesn’t count with COYER) or a Netgalley/Edelweiss books that will count with both COYER and the Netgalley/Edelweiss Challenge but because I haven’t read anything in 3 days I want to make sure I can get through the books I am currently reading before the year is over to make my Goodreads Challenge only need 1 more books to make my goal π
Books I got this week:
Β What have you been reading and up to this week?
Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!
Happy Reading
Jammies and a gift card. Sounds perfect to me! π I’m glad you had a wonderful Christmas and I hope your New Year is just as fantastic! Can you believe it’s this week?! *falls over* Time goes too fast, fer sure.
It really does go way to fast. If it could just slow down a little so I can catch up that would be nice π
I love the Christmas presents. I’m glad your family had a great Christmas. The out with the old and in with the new posts have been so much fun to read. My first TBR post is going up this week.
I need those shirts! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
I never saw HP socks before. It is great your kids enjoyed Christmas — it’s a good memory for them to carry into the future.
Thank you! I was surprised she found them. She’s good at finding different things π
Omg love the gifts your mom got you – the pjs are awesome and the HP socks!! So sweet of Ashley to send you a signed copy of her book, I’m glad I’m finally reading it.
Talk soon!!!
She is good at finding stuff like that. I love the socks, I am almost scared to wear them because I don’t want them to get messed up π
Yes lets chat this week!
Your mom did great π That’s wonderful your son thought it was the best Christmas ever, you guys did it right. π
Have a wonderful new year!
So glad you had a wonderful Christmas, Berls! I love the socks and PJs! Where on earth did she find them?! My daughter needs a set of those socks. (I might need some, too.) And I’ll check out the two other challenges, though I don’t want to take on too many. π
Have a great week and enjoy your new book. What fun to be quoted in it!
Thanks Katherine! I love the socks and plan to wear the PJs just as a remind for my husband not to talk to me when I am reading lol
The Reading Assignment is going to be fun, I can’t wait to read my first books for it π
Sounds like you had a great Christmas! I love the PJs and socks. This year definitely flew by way to fast. I’m excited about The Reading Assignment challenge. I’ve already got my list all picked out! Have a great week and Happy New Year!
Looks like you had a great Christmas! I can’t believe this year is almost done.
π
I know why does it have to go so fast!
Aww those socks and PJ’s you got are so cute! I am glad to hear you had an awesome christmas. And yay for getting a signed book, it’s so awesome to get signed books!
I don’t want to take a blogging break, I enjoy seeing all the end of the year posts people are doing, although with christmas this week was a bit slow around the blogospere.
I had a slow start with Coyer and still haven’t finished my first book, but I did finish two physical books this week, so that kinda makes up for it ;).
I love the socks.
I have been around just not doing much blogging stuff but I am now so behind and have Christmas brains that I am all messed up lol So I had to come back early but I hope to take a break after COYER is over.
I finished one book for COYER but hoping to finish the one I am currently reading before the week is over.
It’s so much fun getting autographed books. Come visit my Weekly Wrap-up.
