A bit crazy & a bit productive ~ WIR & The Sunday Post 11/9/14

WIR vectorstock_43821-1-1Week in READ-view is a post I have posted on Sundays telling you what I have been up to this week and what I read or am reading. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Real Life & Blog News:

My daughter had her first birthday party with her friends on Saturday  and she had so much fun and got lots of cute stuff. We also found out who the little boy is that is quite smitten with her. It’s so cute because I think she likes him too…Oh to be young and in love 🙂 The week has been crazy getting ready for the party and I really was a but behind on a lot of things I needed to get done but Friday I had a kick in the butt and flew through a bunch of posts and now have 30 posts scheduled and hoping to have a bunch more by next Friday! Yay! Mind you the 30 is all for November but since I am doing the Blog Ahead Challenge I am hoping to get even more ahead since at the moment I am stinking big time on that challenge 🙂

Next Friday I am finally going to a Orthopedic doctor to look at my finger. 4 weeks and it’s still broken, swollen and purple, I am hoping it’s nothing but needing more time but I am a little worried since its like a mood finger with the colors it changes to every day.

I really have not much else to report or at least that I can think of at this moment but I usually think of everything after the post goes live.

  3. It was wrong of me, but I chuckled a little at the “mood finger” description. I am sorry you’re still having issues with it, and I hope it just needs a bit more time.

You’re doing great on scheduling posts. I honestly don’t know where you find the time. I’m completely sucking at the Blog Ahead challenge, but hopefully between today and next weekend I’ll get a good chunk of posts done.

And I’m almost done with Bah, Humbug, so I bet I’ll be snagging the other two shortly 😉 Have a great week, Michelle!

Oh your poor finger! Good luck at the doctor’s.

I am impressed with your blog ahead scheduling, that’s fantastic!

Aww, how cute about your daughter and her friend. Happy birthday to her!

  5. I am happy to hear your daughter had fun at her birthday party!

I actually managed to surprise myself and got quite some posts written this week, many for November, but also 8 new ones for december. I hope I cna keep it up next week.

I hope your finger recovers soon. Having a bruised finger sounds so annoying, there are probably a lot of things you normally use it for, but now can’t.

I usually draft my Sunday Post early during the week, so I can add every little tidbit I can think of during the week. It works for me, although even then I still forget some things.

I hope you have a great week 🙂

    • Once the A Month of Giving thanks posts are done I will be ready to get ahead with December posts. I just have had to revisit them a few times (i keep forgetting stuff ) So I am hoping by Monday I can do my first December post and keep going from there.

Since the finger is my pointer it makes it very hard to type because I had to adjust they way I type it’s annoying and I really do hope they can do something to help it get better quicker.

I usually do it on Fridays but the kids were home and I did 30 other posts that day lol but I should really try to do it a little earlier still 🙂
