Week in READ-view is a post I have posted on Sundays telling you what I have been up to this week and what I read or am reading. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Itโs a chance to share news, post a recap of the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
On the Blog, Books & Real Life:
This week was…nothing like I expected. I didn’t do a lot of reading and I seem to be so busy I barely had time for anything else. Trying to get all my monthly posts finished and also getting some sign up posts complete for December. I feel like I have a million things to do with no time to do it.
This week the COYER website went down, it happens, but Berls worked her butt off and got us back up and running in enough time to post the Sign Up post. So are you ready for COYER Black Out: Winter Storm? It’s LIVE you can sign up NOW! Click on the image to take you to the sign up post and the RULES to Blackย Out!
Because of the new rules of COYER, I plan to spend some time reworking my Kindle and Goodreads. This is a great chance for me to organize all my books. With Turkey Day right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to sit and get all my books organized and see exactly what the heck I have.
Saturday I had a birthday party for my daughter, she invited her friends over for fun, a movie and birthday cake. Since it was sort of a last-minute party, this week was me running around getting the house together to accommodate a bunch of 8/9-year-old girls. We pulled it off. The kids had fun and Julia was so happy to have her friends over.
Overall, I am super behind on posts so it will be light until I can get time to sit and write some stuff. I have a lot written down, now I just need to get it up on the blog. Thankfully I have almost all but maybe 2 reviews that need to be written so it’s just a matter of setting them up and scheduling them. I am hoping Sunday I will have a lot of time to do as much as I can. This coming week is Thanksgiving and I know I wont be doing anything that day or the day after since the CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS GO UP!!!! I can’t wait to decorate the house. Plus our House Christmas Elf comes back and the kids are very excited for his return. So I am hoping Saturday and Sunday will be me just blogging away until I can’t blog anymore. ๐

So tell me what have you been reading and up to this week?
Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!
Happy Reading
I’ve been so busy with work that I’ve had almost no time for anything else. I got almost no reading or blogging done, I can’t remember the last time I’ve had this few posts scheduled.
I am so excited for the next Coyer! It’s one of my favorite challenges. I scheduled my sign-up post for shortly before the start of the challenge, so will link it up when it’s live.
I am glad Julia had a fun party with her friends! And I hope you get a lot done this week and you had a fun thanksgiving!
I love the cover for Vengeance road. I don’t see me reading it as I’m not really into western style settings but I can happily sit and admire a good cover! I could do with a good Kindle clearout…I’m already into my winter reading assault to try and catch up a few book series and get as much read as possible!
I really struggle to keep getting posts up and on time – there’s just too much else going on in my life that my poor little blog sometimes gets pushed back, poor thing! ๐
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving and have fun decorating for Christmas. My parents usually put their tree up the day after Thanksgiving. I haven’t decorated my apartment for Christmas in years. I used to put up a tree but it was such a hassle.
I have never participated in COYER but I have so many unread books on my Kindle that maybe I should check it out!
Ha sounds like a fun week w/ Thanksgiving and decorating- hope you have a great holiday! And good luck with post writing too- it takes up so much time, right? Glad to see COYER back. ๐ I love that blackout graphic!
Can’t believe it’s almost Christmas time already! Not that I mind, love this time of year, but there are already lights up in my neighborhood and it’s nice to see them at night. Still this year is flying!
Hope you have a great weekend Michelle and a good week.
Happy birthday to your daughter! I hope she had a lot of fun at her b-day party ๐
I am all ready for COYER, my Goodreads shelves already reflected my books based on ARC, freebie, under $1 etc, so I just had to make sure all my under $1 books were in a collection on my kindle. I can’t wait!!
Have a fantastic week ahead and happy reading, MIchelle! xoxo {{{BIG HUGS}}}
Happy Birthday to your daughter, Michelle! Sounds like everything turned out well despite being last minute. ๐ I love Berls’ post about COYER Blackout: Winter Storm. Sounds like it will be a lot of fun. ๐ I hope to spend this week doing some major cleaning. That way we’ll be all ready to put up the Christmas decorations next weekend. I’m looking forward to it. ๐ My husband dreads getting up on the later each year to put up the Christmas lights. I wish is wasn’t so expensive to hire someone to do it for us . . .
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Michelle, and enjoy the week!
I was glad it turned out nice and with 4 girls it was a perfect day for her.
I was very happy with Berls post, she did a great job.
My husband dreads dragging all the christmas boxes upstairs and then bring then back down. ๐ I feel bad for him but I love how the house looks and I can’t wait for it to be all decorated. It always looks so nice and cozy.
I really really need to organize my GR shelves like I did my BL shelves, but I really really don’t wanna. lol I still have yet to make lists on YouTube! I msut make a New Years Resolution to get electronically organized. At least a little bit. ๐ And I have a graphic I need to ponder. With everything going on this week I completely forgot.
So glad Julia had fun! Your week sounds like mine. I was everywhere and had little time to read and when I did have time I was too stressed. *sigh*
We will also be decorating on Friday. Woot! I love Christmas lights!
I hope you have a lovely week, Michelle! XOXO
Bookish Resolutions is a great way to keep you organized ๐
YES! I forgot the graphic also. Let me know when you are ready .
It was really weird also. I started reading a bit last night and really enjoying the book so this week will be different ๐ I miss reading.
Oh COYER sounds like a real challenge this time!! I should sit down and sort out my kindle too…but whenever I try, I end up just reading.
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Lol, COYER will be fun this time around. I started sorting last night and realize I have no idea where to start. It might take a while to figure it all out.
Happy Birthday to your daughter. Nothing like a house full of happy young ladies! I spent a lot of time blogging ahead this week. I know the holidays will be busy and I was lucky to have some time to do it. Have a lovely Thanksgiving:)
Thanks Laura, the girls seemed to have a good time. I am hoping to get some stuff done today and during the week, if I can. I really need to get ahead for the holidays, I know how busy it will be.
