Week in READview:

I have been watching pretty much all the spooky shows, listening to creepy music and murder podcasts. I am really enjoying this time of year. The weather still hasn’t cooled enough for me but I think we are getting to the point that the low 70s and upper 60s is now that weather for the week. I can’t wait for it to be in the lower 60s and upper 50s that is honestly the weather I love the most.

The blog has been filled with fun halloween posts and I am so excited to be blogging again. I am not three weeks doing the Sunday post and I think I might keep it going. I am feeling super bloggy and doing a lot of design work on the side.

Speaking of design work…

Are you a blogger and need a new feature, meme
or challenge you want to start but don’t feel like making a logo?
Well…Let me do it for you! For $5 I will make you the logo you need.
Look for a new header or other images for your blog? Let me help you create a new look for the new year!

I’m also available to help you update your blog, want a fresh look, new banner, feature logos, etc?
I can help you with that. I can give you a complete redesign and fresh look for the new year.

Reading was a little slow this week since I wasn’t able to get the time to sit and read at night like I normally do. I am hoping this week things will go back to normal but I do have to take my daughter to cheer on Monday instead of Thursday since Thursday will be my sons virtual open house. Not even sure what that means but I switched days with my husband so I can attend.

I am planning on doing the 24 hour Readathon on October 24th, I am going to see if I can finish The Shadow of What was lost, so right now I am putting it on hold until then. So far Roosevelt Ghosts is cute and I should be down with it soon. MyTBR winner is my next read and I am excited to get started on it. 🙂

I grabbed no new books this week.

Challenges & Readathons:

  1. I love that you’ve got your blogging mojo back! I’ve completely lost mine, lol. I blame the state of the world… Or it’s effect on my brain. 🙁

Our temps have fallen to around 55-65f in the day to 40(ish)f at night. It’s pretty awesome but I’d like it to slip just a little more as I’m still warm enough (most of the time) NOT want to snuggle under a blanket on the sofa but I want my sofa blankie time, damnit! It’ll come… Another few weeks or so… 🙂

Hope you have a good week!

  2. Everyone is reading spooky books, I feel like I should elf-up and give some a try. During the day. When it’s sunny.
I might take you up on the blog graphics offer, I keep seeing people have a lot of cool stuff, but I’m way to unskilled and lazy to make anything myself … now to just think of what specifically I’d want …

  3. I completely missed the 24-Hour Readathon. I am pretty sure I signed up for it some time back, but then I’ve made no preparations for it. I need to start thinking about it. I have to plan in advance to get books from the library.

You have been doing some scary reading. This is the time of year for it. I’ve always loved Halloween. It’s a time imaginations can go crazy.

I do hope you have a good week.

  4. We had a glimpse of spring one day this week, and then it started raining and was cold again. Halloween is not very big in South Africa, but I also like all the spooky things this time of the year! Still need to decide on what to read for Halloween…

I think it’s lovely that you offer our services to help your fellow bloggers with their blog’s logos and templates. I know there is a lot of frustration going around on both Blogger and WordPress. I got a brand new template a week before the Blogger interface and I don’t have any problems. Maybe I’m just lucky!!

Hope you will have a good week. Here’s my The Sunday Post #14

  5. That’s nice you’ve been enjoying this time of the hear and have been listening to spooky things. That’s good news about your design work picking up, I look forward to see what you come up with for my new header! I love your design work and I am so happy with all the work you do for me. That’s nice you’re feeling bloggy 🙂 , I always like it when such a mood strikes. I have some ideas for recipe posts and some posts I want to do for authors, soon hopefully, for now work is keeping me busy which is awesome. I hope you have great week!

    • I am happy with the design stuff. I am still looking to do more. I think I enjoy it more then I do my actual real job. I really wish I could do it full time. Next year I plan to get back into cover design.

Once all this crazy is over I am hoping to be able to go back to cooking like normal. I miss running to the store and grabbing what I need. Now it’s like if I go to the store it’s to get a lot of stuff and only make one trip a week if that.

  6. Yeah our weather went back to summer temps as well this week. I’m ready for those 60s-70s for a bit! I think this week we might go to 70s with a few more 80 days much to my dismay.

Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

  7. Glad your feeling all kinds of bloggy!!! Keep it coming. 🙂 Roosevelt’s Ghost looks cute and I can’t wait to see what you think of Kill River, I keep putting it on my TBR but never getting to it…lol.

    Have a great week!
