My Last Sunday Post until September 10th ~ WIR & SP

Posted August 20, 2017 by Michelle in The Sunday Post, WIReadview / 20 Comments

First I want to apologize, once again for not being around so much to comment and visit, I have some exciting things I am working on off the blog and it’s taking up some of my time. I am hoping once I get it all in place things will settle down for me to visit again, I promise I still love you all! I just have been brainstorming and working very hard. I’ll have a lot more details in a few week but first…..

This week was crazy since it was my first week back from vacation. I wasn’t able to accomplish much on the blog. My awesome co-blogger is super ahead while I am WAY behind still. I am slowly working on getting posts complete. Last couple of week of summer is always busy as we try to fit in lots of family adventures before school starts.

This will be my last Sunday post until September 10th. Don’t worry nothing is wrong (also see above) but the next two weekends I wont be home to sit and visit all of you on Sunday, so I figured I would not post until we are officially home. School starts soon (the 7th actually) so we wont be going down to the shore house anymore so that will free up my Sundays to do what I normally do on Sunday Mornings…visit you. πŸ™‚ So for now I am just taking a short break from the Sunday Post but I will be around the blog and social media.

Today we are actually going to a Video Game Convention in NY so I wont be around until later. We are actually looking forward to it. I have no idea what to expect but I plan to have all the details at some point on the blog when it is over.

Task it Tuesday will be back next week. It wont be an every week thing but I thought I have lots to do around the house and blog it might be fun to do some posts about it again. Might be either an every other week thing or a twice a month update thing or a once a month thing or a one time thing…see I am not sure so we will see how it goes. πŸ˜€

  1. Late summer is such a busy time, don’t sweat it. πŸ™‚ I was starting to slide a little too, didn’t really get behind but wasn’t as ahead as I’d like to be either, so I can relate! Time needs to slow down! I’m kind of in shock that we’re at the end of summer already, even though I love fall. Crazy how fast this summer went by…

Hope you have fun at the video game convention- sounds great!

    • I agree, this year does seem to be going very quickly. I think the world is just so much busier than it used to be. I think this last 3 months went by before I even had a chance to enjoy it. I also am looking forward to fall, maybe it will slow down just a little when we have our routine back in order again.

It was so much fun. The kids had a great time. I really enjoyed it also. Got to play a few games that aren’t out yet which was cool .

  2. I hope you enjoy your break! The Video Game Convention looked like a lot of fun. My daughter wants to attend one too but the closest we have found was Seattle and Las Vegas. Maybe we’ll take a family vacation for this convention, since my husband also enjoys video games. I hope you have a great week!

  3. Enjoy your last few days! They will fly by! We have already started school. I feel super behind. I made no progress on the blog this week. I didn’t even touch my computer all week. I hope this week is different. Having 400+ emails with new posts is ANXIETY inducing. I’m going to *try* doing my normal rounds….a week late.

    • Thank you! We have about two weeks left. I miss the routine. The fall/Winter I can always get more done but the spring/summer I always feel so behind lol.
I am working on other stuff also so it’s hard to balance everything .
You just gave me anxiety thinking of 400+ emails lol

  4. Don’t worry, coming very soon you’ll be ahead and I’ll be hanging on for dear life – just one more week and school starts back up for me. I’m not feeling too good today so looks like I won’t be doing much blogging or anything really today. Have fun at the video game convention!

    • I think we have a great balance right now and I have lots of ideas for the next few months for filler so we will be OK! πŸ™‚
I have a kink in my neck and we just got home so I might do some stuff tonight but WWE is on so my calendar might be the only thing I can get to.
