This weeks Topic: Best Childhood Memory
My favorite childhood memory hands down is Christmas. I loved everything about it and even to this day I can remember the details of Christmas…Let me take you back, WAY back.….I loved coming home Christmas eve all tired from my grandmother’s house and coming in the basement door either being carried or walking up the stairs, putting on our Christmas PJ’s and getting into bed. At that point I was some what now awake, I would wait till all the light were out and my parents are in bed I would peeking into the living room from my bed waiting to catch a glimpse of the big man in red only to fall asleep before he arrived. I would wake up to what looked like Toys R Us threw up in our living room (my mom Santa was a Christmas spoiler) Diving in to rip all the gifts open then having my dad put everything together. We would clean up and eat breakfast then run back in the living room to play some more until we got dress and went to my other grandmothers house (the one I just so happen to live in now) This was the same every year and I think it is what made me LOVE Christmas so much. I still believe in the IDEA of Santa, I have made my kids Christmas Crazy and made sure that the Christmas I give to them has the same awesome memories that my mom gave to me π
Thanks so much for stopping by.
What is your Favorite Childhood Memory
Have a great week!!!
Reading all of these wonderful memories has made me realize I’ve left a lot out. Christmases are definitely cherished memories to me, too! Thanks for sharing π
π it’s one of my favorite memories!
I love old Christmas pictures!! So fun. I had similar Christmas memories. My dad having to have to put everything together was a big one. Missing batteries and all that jazz. Thanks for sharing this with us!
The old pictures are the best, I love looking in the background at the way stuff was decorated π This year we were missing batteries and I wanted to scream that I forgot them. Totally know how our parents felt Lol
That second picture is just hilarious! Your expression is priceless! I’m so jealous of your christmas memories – we didn’t celebrate and I think I really missed out on some great experiences. Oh well, I’ll just have to create my own π
That picture cracks me up and you can see my love for disney started at a young age. You really do need to create your own. I love christmas and have so many memories but they are my favorite.
Haha! Those are adorable Christmas pictures!
Thank you π
Christmas memories are the best, Michelle! Thanks for sharing yours. π
