Books:
My reading slowed down a little this week but mostly because I am LOVING The Kingdom and don’t want it to end. The format is so unique and this story is insane! I can’t wait to see what happens but I also don’t want to. lol Nightmares is next since I have to review it at the end of the month and my first 2 star for Madison Faye. I still love her just not that book! 🙂
Teeth in the Mist because I love her and I love her books! I flipped through the pages and the format for that books is amazing! I can’t wait to read it, I am prepared for a mind bending read.

Real life & Blogging:
Me: sitting in the kitchen on the computer. (no noise at all)
Google Mini: “This is the sound of the ocean” Plays ocean music
Me: “Ummm” 🤨……………..”Thank you?!?!”
The first time she did it we learned fun facts about Koalas. I never asked about them and no one was talking to her. I am not sure why it keeps doing this. Sometimes she says stuff if we are talking but not suppose to when now one is saying anything….I am PRAYING it doesn’t happen in the middle of the night.
The work week was CRAZY busy and by the time I got home I was just exhausted, played a little on the computer and went to bed early. One more week of school for the kids and they are done.
Weather has been weird, It was gorgeous the first few days and rain came in Thursday…Friday is was cold, not put on the heat cold but colder than it usually is in June. The temp was 70 but the wind was so cold it felt like low 60s maybe even upper 50s.
I did a lot of blogging on Friday and Saturday, I am currently sitting about a week ahead and have enough stuff to fill in the next two weeks. This week I am starting a new meme for myself with a possibility of it becoming a meme that anyone can join. However, I am not against people joining if they want. It might help you get those books you want to read, read. I read better when I have a plan and I think this will help me.
My anxiety meds are making me feel AWESOME! I haven’t felt like myself in so long it feels good, my stupid thoughts aren’t as bad, if any, I just feel better and I sleep very good. The pills make me tired but it’s worth it. 🙂
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads. I am cooking a yummy dinner today for my husband and father. Chicken Pot Pie Muffins and Open Faced Cheesesteaks plus pasta salad and yummy sides. I am so looking forward to dinner! 🙂
What I am watching:
Not really watching anything at the moment. I started watching Bones again for background noise. Need to check out my list to see what I want to binge watch next.
What I am playing:
I have fallen down The Sims 4 rabbit hole and I see no signs of getting out. A couple weeks ago the base game was free for their anniversary, I didn’t have 4 only 3 so I grabbed it and let my daughter grab it also. I forgot how much I love to play this game but I actually give myself a limit to play. Only two hours or less during the week and on the weekends, well, I’m an adult, I can do what I want! 😉 lol My computer is older so I don’t have a lot of space but a few of the expansion packs are on sale so I plan to grab at least one and my daughter wants one for her game. I figured it might go on sale again in the future and maybe I’ll have a new computer by then. So if you are looking for me, Good luck finding me! This could take a while. 😀
Just for Fun:

So tell me what have you been reading and up to this week?
Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!
Happy Reading

One of the things I don’t miss is the random battery operated toys that would go off in the middle of the night when the kids were small. They were terrifying enough, something like The Google mini would be worse.
Have a great reading week
The weather’s been lousy here too, especially for June. I mean we’ve had some decent days, but definitely colder.
The Kingdom sounds awesome! Glad you’re enjoying your reads.
The SIMS 4 sounds fun. I’ve been playing Baldurs Gate again, which is a game I played years ago but apparently there’s a new version so I had to try. 🙂
You know – both Google mini and Alexa (plus mobile phones some of the time) always make me think of George Orwell’s novel 1984! I really, really want to read it with my students, but I haven’t had students who are advanced enough in English to do it yet.
I’m so happy your meds are helping! Even if they make you tired – maybe you just need to catch up on sleep?
I miss you so much, Michelle! I SO wish you’d be joining us in Dallas in August!
Have a wonderful week ahead! xoxo <3 <3
Yeah, random Google spoutings would freak me out, too. LOL Glad you’re enjoying your books- except the one, but duds happen now and then. Two weeks ahead on blogging is great. Sounds like your husband is in for a fab meal. 🙂
Have a good week, Michelle!
I haven’t played the Sims in a long time. I miss it! Also, those assistant things (google, Alexa) freak me out. The first time it talked without me talking to it I would throw it in the trash and then light the trash on fire!!
I’m so happy that you’re loving The Kingdom. I need to pick that one up soon, and this makes me eager to do that! Also, I’m happy to hear your meds are working so well for you! That’s fantastic!
You made me curious for The Kingdom! I went to read the blurb and ..added to my TBR! I am happy to know that your meds are making you feel fabulous LOL.
Let’s hope that next week will be less busy and that the rain will be kept at bay!
I love SIMS bummer I didn’t know it was free or I would have grabbed it. I have been curious about 4 but then I probably don’t need it cause that think sucks you in so much that time runs away. I a curious about Teeth in the Mist but I have a bit of love/hate relationship with that authors books so not sure about it. Can’t wait to see what you think of it.
Have a great week and happy reading!

Oh nice! I picked up Teeth in the Mist this week too! Sadly, I just couldn’t get into The Kingdom. I really wanted to like it, but sadly, it just wasn’t working for me. I hope you love it in the end and enjoy all of your other new reads!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
Teeth in the mist looks so good, I do hope I love it. I do enjoy her writing.
Sorry The Kingdom didn’t work for you. I am enjoying it and I am almost done. I am always amazing how different people view things! 🙂
Thanks Jessica! 🙂
