Reading:

(Read, Currently Reading & Next)

I was suppose to do the 24 hour read-a-thon on Saturday but the day didn’t turn out as I expected so I was able to read at night for a little bit but not as much as I was hoping I would read. It’s ok, I’ll try again in april or maybe do the 24 in 48 instead because at might age I might be able to handle that better. lol

So I read some Monster Erotica this week….Some of them were very interesting but I feel like it has been forever since I read one and I needed to at least fit them in at some point. I don’t review these but still wanted to share my crazy reading this week. 🙂

(ignore the edit in the image, I screenshot goodreads and didn’t want to go back and take it again)

What I grabbed:

I honestly haven’t heard of these before but they sound so interesting. I look forward to reading them. 🙂 Plus I got exclusive covers and they are signed. YAY!

Real life & Blogging:

This week was a good fun week. passes out

Truck or Treat was on Friday and I decorated my car and passed out candy to all the kids. It was CRAZY busy. We had so many kids and I handed out 940 pieces of candy. Not even lying! It was insane but so fun. This is my last year doing it since my daughter goes to the middle school next year and they don’t do that anymore once in Middle School.

My daughter also decorated a pumpkin for a contest for the school. The  contest is hosted by the funeral home, at the trunk or treat they come with a hearse and a coffin with smoke and the coffin lid lifts, it’s awesome but weird. Anyway, they set up the pumpkins and my daughters pumpkin was there. Later that night we found out she won first prize! I was so excited especially since she did the pumpkin all by herself, like I put the hat on it but she did everything else. So very proud of her, she did a great job!

Saturday we had a game in the morning and a Pumpkin Patch at night. So my daughter had to cheer at both. I took her to the game and my husband took her to the pumkpin patch. I dressed her up like a zombie cheerleader, she looked great. You can see all the photos on my instagram.

This week is a good blogging week and I should have more stuff for next week. The next two weeks are going to be crazy with Halloween, end of the football season for cheerleading, my daughters birthday and tag day. The next week is election day and inservice so lots of half days and days off for the kids. My head is spinning trying to remember everything lol.

Hoping to spend a little part of today working on some design stuff and blogging, since it will be raining all day and I love lazy rain days.

What I am watching:

Murder made me famous…apparently instead of horror movies I am watching murder before Christmas movies start on November 1st!

What I am playing:

The Sims announced they have a new expansion pack coming out November 15th. They are releasing Sims Discover University and I can’t wait. Still so obsessed.

Just for Fun:

  1. I knew I wasn’t going to be able to do the 24 hour readathon like usual so didn’t even sign up…lol. I will try the april one too! Here is an idea, how about COYER host a 24 in 48 readathon?? 😉 I am with you on the age thing, I can’t stay up 24 hours anymore and usually it’s on a Saturday and I have church Sunday so it’s not feasible for me to stay up for that and try and make it to church too…lol. So I never make it more than about 17 or 18 hours…lol.

I have no clue what Crier’s War is about but that cover is so pretty! 🙂

Have a great week and happy reading!

  2. Lol, I saw that “just for fun” meme on Facebook a few weeks ago and shared it and every time I see it, it brings me joy… Suits my humour perfectly! 😂
Your week sounds crazy busy but super fun! I can’t wait to get stuck into all the Halloween shenanigans this week. Well done to your daughter on her first prize! She must be so proud of herself.
Hope this one is as good as last for you!

  3. Readathons don’t ever seem to work for me lol so I can relate. Something always comes up. I am gonna try the HoHoHo RAT though, I usually try to fit that one at least.

    Tentacle Monster Bundle lol.

Oh my gosh that graphic is AWESOME. :):)

  4. Your pumpkin adventures sound awesome…and it sounds like you’re looking forward to University coming back to The Sims. They definitely spoiled us in Sims 2 with university being the first expansion. Feels like we had to wait far too long this time!

Monster Erotica? I may have to check that out…

  5. What a busy week with all the fun Halloween activities. I can’t even think about doing that level of out & about stuff. I’m glad we mostly have our nights and weekends at home right now. It sounds fun! YAY for the first prize! We will do more once I finish unpacking. I still need to decide WHICH series I am reading next month. Will it be something I own? Something on audible escape since I have it and am not really using it? Or something on KU? I’ll sort it out in the next couple days. I am excited for it. Have a wonderful week! Happy Halloween! Apparently our street gets hundreds of Trick or Treaters. Enjoy your new reads.

    • I hate being out and about lol but it’s almost done…sort of. I will get my weekends back at the end of November, like thanksgiving weekend. I feel like we have been going for months with no break.

I might start my series as soon as I am done with my current read. The series I picked is a big one so I know it will take me some time to read.

We don’t get any kids on Halloween so that is why I don’t mind the truck or treat.

  6. Wow, I’m exhausted, what a week! Congrats to Julia on her pumpkin – is there a picture on Instagram?! Tell her congrats and she did it on her own, yay!

Okay, so did you like count the candy you handed out? and Holy smokes! And I just realized I forgot to buy candy for trick-or-treaters… whoops!

Have a great week 🙂 HUGS from me and Dante 😉
