Week in READview:

Real life:

Work has been CRAZY BUSY! Every weekend so far I have had to take work home with me and spend about 6 to 7 hours working on making menus fit. Not as easy as one would think but it will help out and make people more comfortable when things do start opening up.

This weekend was no different as I took home 3 jobs to do but did spend a couple hours at night playing the new Sims 4 expansion pack Eco Living. It is so much fun, I am loving all the new stuff and game play. It was nice way to unwind from working but seriously wanted to play all day and night but sadly for the next couple of weeks I have to be adult-ish….I hate being an adult! lol

Blogging & Reading:

I am working on some posts and figuring out exactly how I want to proceed with Blogging. A lot has changed for me so I would love to change some things up and give some of the stuff I did a fresh look and feel. Once things slow down a little I will have a lot more posts but for now I will be in and out when it comes to posts. I am loving how productive I feel and even spent some time organizing my posts for Waiting on Wednesday because I am waiting for a lot of new releases this year. I wasn’t originally but seriously I can’t seem to stop finding books I want to read.

Reading has been good, I can’t complain, it actually is the only thing I have been sort of keeping up with. I am not reading as much as I usually do but I am reading. It keeps my brain busy and I need that right now.

Books:

Scarecrow has so much potential but it was missing so much. I wanted more world build and character but it was just all sex. Not that I mind it sometimes it just wasn’t done well. Baby Fever was my alpha, insta love, over the top sex book. This book worked better than the other one. I am enjoying We Hunt the Flame, it’s a little confusing but not bad. 🙂

What I grabbed:

I didn’t get anything this week except a Book Box book but I wont share it until next week incase someone didn’t get there box yet 🙂

  1. That sounds stressful how you have to take so much work home with you. Luckily at least you had some time to play the Sims to unwind. And that’s good at least your reading is going well and you got some stuff for your blog organized. I hope you have a good week and hopefully your work quits down a bit soon.

  2. My library hold list is my TBR for books I actively seek out to read – and it’s about maxed out! I don’t dare start playing Sims – I’m afraid I’d never stop. LOL Thanks for sharing and enjoy your week 🙂

  3. Wow, you are crazy busy, Michelle. Hopefully, you’ll be able to flex days and get a break later. Glad you have your game and some good books to keep you sane.

    Have a good week!

    • The Sims really does keep me sane and just let’s me take a break from it all. I plan to play a little tonight to unwind.

    • Not really a direction more of a refresh on old stuff. I want to redo the way I do some posts and write reviews. Plus I’ve had ideas that just never happened that I would love to explore again. Plus make some new graphics.

  4. I think being busy is great and helps with things feeling more normal. I mean I always feel better when I get things accomplished. As long as you get paid for it. There are so many great books I want to read, it’s overwhelming. I am reading though – glad to hear you are too.

    Stay safe and be well!

  5. So with all this extra work you’re doing, is he giving you back vacation time or soemthing? Because he has no problem docking you when there isn’t work to do or you need a time off for fucking weather!

I’m glad you are able to stay busy though! I did like ko blogging this week 😐. It’s a constant up and down for me.

    Sending you tons of hugs!
