Books:

Reading:

Kill the Farm Boy is actually very witty. I am enjoying the story but not finding a lot of time to read at the moment with the holiday right around the corner. I am hoping to get a chance to read today at some point while I am prepping.

I need to read the last Potion Masters book for Jan and then going to jump into There will Come a Darkness which was my TBR List winner. I have the review due for Kill the Farm boy Saturday so I am hoping I will be done and have the post up in time 🙂

I got a LOT of books this week. We have a secret Santa in the COYER group and I got three books that were on my wish list. I need to go back to revisit Larissa Ione since I think I might need to read two books before that one. I almost bought the book box book but I am glad I waited. Shadow Mountain Publishing sent me three proper romances and I love their books, so I can’t wait to read them.

What I grabbed:

Challenges & Readathons:

Up above you can find these two challenges. Check out the details and I hope you will join us! 🙂 .
I will have my posts for those up this week.

On the Blog:

Blogging:

I did a few things this week for the blog and of course the one plug-in that I loaded for the media organizing wasn’t working. I think I found a new one. I organized everything on Friday but I still have a few things to fix. So far it works but I said that last time so I guess we will see how it goes. After all that time organizing, I hope it works.

I will basically be MIA until after Christmas because Crazy busy starts today but I am planning to do at least 2 posts so I can get the out of the way. I plan to do a lot of blogging, organizing design stuff and reading after Christmas since I will have the time. 🙂

What you missed:

What you might see this week:

I have my two goal posts this week, one for the Reading Assignment and the other for Bookish Resolutions.

Week in READview:

Real life:

This week was ok, I had a lot to do to get ready for this coming week. My boss only gives off on Xmas so I had to take off the day before and after Xmas. So Monday I will be going to work, my co-worker and I plan to get lunch, since we don’t get a Christmas party. I hope to not be there all day but I really can’t afford to loose any hours so I will probably leave normal time and head home to start prepping for Christmas Eve and Day. I am so excited for CHRISTMAS!!!

This week coming up,  daughter and I plan to binge the rest of Stranger Things. I did watch A Knight Before Christmas on Netflix it was actually cute but I haven’t really been watching Christmas Movies….shocking I know….but I’m just not liking the new ones they made for the Hallmark Channel, they all seem rushed and weirdly casted. At this point I think they are just pushing them out to have them and not really focusing on the actual story and acting. I am also hoping to watch The Witcher and Dark Crystal. I am not pretty much doing Binge Watch and Sim. 🙂

We had the Wackiest weather this week. Monday was super wet with icy type of rain but it left the trees looking like it has crystals hanging from the branches. It was beautiful and scary when the wind blew and the tree would start too crack and creak. It was the weirdest noise. Then on Wednesday I get an emergency alert on my phone about a snow squall that was heading out way. I thought an emergency alert was odd, plus the sun was out and the sky was blue. It was like the coming of an apocalypse, I never saw the sky change like that. It was similar to a thunderstorm but way different and then the snow started and it came down hard for a good hour. We didn’t get much but then the cold front came in and we are now freezing. It was like the entire winter in one week. Thankfully this week will be mild so it will be good for traveling and I can open the window while I cook on Wednesday to hear the church bells play Christmas songs.

  1. Our weather is whacked at the moment too! We’ve just been issued flood warnings. Fun, fun. Luckily, I don’t live close to the river but still… Annoying and slightly upsetting .

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! I’m planning on binging The Witcher too. 🙂

  2. You must not be too far from me because I got the same crazy weather! I was so glad I had just pulled into my driveway when that snow squall hit, it was crazy! Hope you get to find a bit of time during your days off!

  3. I always feel bad for people who don’t get a Christmas break. I know not everyone teaches and gets two weeks off, but everyone should get more than just Christmas day off (or at least a couple days off for holiday if you have to work Christmas). I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

    • I always wished he would give the week of Christmas. I would even take that as one vacation week. We don’t get many vacation days, he recently took away presidents day. My husbands boss gave them off the two days before and on Xmas and the Tuesday before new years and New years day. I only get New years day. If I didn’t have the hours I would have to work with no pay. It sucks but it is what it is, I guess. 🙂

  4. I still think your boss is a total ass hat for not even giving you a half day on Xmas eve! But you’ve got a good plan for the week it sounds like.

Ugh that weather sounds miserable. I’m so glad we do not have any snow in our forecast. A white Christmas is SO overrated lol.

    Happy Christmas Michelle! Xoxo

    • He’s a nice guy but not a good boss. He is very selfish when it comes to doing stuff for us. And we do a lot for him but I don’t think he see that he only sees what we do wrong and likes to point that out.

Weather is suppose to be nice this week. I am looking forward to it.

  5. I’m so happy I’m off for two weeks! I’m so exhausted it feels like I’ve aged ten years in one semester…
I hope work will be slow for you on Monday, so that nothing will stress you while you have to be there. Lunch with your co-worker sounds nice, too.
Have a wonderful Sunday, and a very Merry Christmas week with your family and fantastic food.
    Hugs!
