WIR vectorstock_43821-1-1Week in READ-view is a post I have posted on Sundays telling you what I have been up to this week and what I read or am reading. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by the awesome Kimba at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Itโ€™s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Real Life & Blog News:

Umm…Hello November? Where in the World did this year go? Do you realize that we only have about 8 weeks until Xmas? 8 WEEKS!!!! But let’s get through this weekend first ๐Ÿ™‚ Today is my Baby Girls 7th Birthday! We will be celebrating today with Breakfast and a Trip to Toys R Us to get some birthday presents, we usually buy stuff for her but we thought instead lets let her pick what she wants. She is so excited.

Halloween was so much fun. My son had a rough start to the day but it turned out all good later on. We got a lot of candy and the kids had a blast going to all the houses. 2 1/2 hours we spend trick or treating I was exhausted!!!. Here are a few pictures from last week Halloween preparation and Halloween Day.

ย I have a busy month ahead and I am already behind. Netgalley November started yesterday and I am almost done with the book I was reading, I should be finished today (if not last night) I will be getting to my netgalley read today. I am very excited to help out my pathetic ratio. I am also participating in Blog Ahead and I have a few posts I can’t wait to start working on and get set up. It will be nice to be finally ahead with some new features and some original content.
Took a small blog break last week and I had some thoughts about what I wanted to do with Because Reading. I have decided that I will be slowing down on the Author Spotlight Posts. I do love doing themย  I need to make my blog more about me and show you more of my personality. I want to do this blog with more me and even my kids in mind. I will still do Spotlights but not as often. I really want this blog to be fun and original, so I think it will take on more of my personality in my reviews, new features and they way it is overall, new changes in 2015, even a new design that I cant wait to share. I love doing this and have no intention of stopping it only took me almost 2 years to figure out how I wanted it to be ๐Ÿ™‚ better late than never!

Your boy is a cute hot dog ๐Ÿ˜€ Happy birthday to your kitty/baby girl. 2.5 hours trick or treating? Wow. I bet you all were tired.

More changes coming, so many bloggers are changing. It’s like a chain reaction. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

  2. Love your pics from Halloween, looks like the kids had fun.
I feel the same way I’m trying to put more of my personality into my blog as well and make it more unique. I hope you find a design you like and make changes you’re happy with. Have a great week.

  4. Happy birthday to your not so little one! 7 is such a great age though. They’re not helpless but that whole middle school thing hasn’t started yet. Looks like you guys had a great Halloween! I love your son’s costume. Good luck with blog ahead! I’m looking forward to seeing your new changes. It’s always good to take some time to reevaluate. The Map to Everywhere looks like a fun read! Hope you enjoy it if that’s where you decide to go next. Have a great week!
-I’m ignoring the whole 8 weeks till Christmas comment! Totally unnecessary ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Your kids are so cute in the costumes! I showed my dad your Dancing Hot Dog he thought it was cute..hehe. I think some times it takes a while to figure out exactly how we want out blogs and then some times longer. I think a lot of times about how I wish I had a different blog name but since I have had this one forever I just keep going on with it. ๐Ÿ™‚

The books your reading look really cute! ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a great week!

    • I love that he likes to be different lol He always wants to be something either hard to find or totally different then anyone else. I love it ๐Ÿ™‚

You can always change your name I know someone else did that and I love my name but I wish it wasn’t so long which is why I tend to go with Because reading.

    • I do Xmas at my house, I LOVE cooking and it’s so nice not to have to open gifts and rush out the door. This time of year is my favorite and I am really looking forward to it. For some reason I really feel like I am in the Holiday spirit more than I was last year.

  6. Your banner changed again, I really like this one as well!

Happy birthday to your daughter, I hope she has a great day ๐Ÿ™‚

It was so much fun to see everyone’s costumes around the internet on Halloween. I am a bit sad Halloween isn’t a popular here yet. Those Halloween treats you made, look really good!

I always have trouble commenting on the author spotlights as I often don’t know the author and doesn’t really have as much to say. So I think it’s a good thing to have less of those and more personal posts. I am looking forward to see what you come up with :).
