Recap & What’s to come…
This month I realized that I might have stopped the Author Spotlight Posts to short without planning ahead. My month was slow on posts to a point and I realized that next month I had to find posts to put up. That was when it hit me, a cold, I spent most of the month trying to get it to go away but believe it or not I think it helped me. I took a day off from work to “rest” and while I was resting I started having ideas and then the next day (which was my blogging day) I became super productive and started writing down a ton of ideas. So this past week I started scheduling original posts, reviews, updates, app reviews and a few other things. Now I have the month of Feb filled and a bunch more posts I want to do for March. I am so excited and can’t wait to share all of this with you.
I am also going to do a few Blog Tours and Blitz’s this year. I had stopped doing them last year but I realized some of the books and Authors I want to help support so you might see a few a month not a lot. Blog Tours will only be for books I want to read or ones that I would really be interested in, since I have become more of a picky reader.
Speaking of picky reader, I wasn’t a fan of Erotica and I try to keep my blog as family friendly as possible BUT I might have had a change of heart, now before I start getting a bunch of erotica requests let me explain, recently I read a FANTASTIC Erotica from one of my favorite authors and it was done very well. I actually enjoy reading that type of genre but never knew exactly how to review it on the blog. Well I decided that I will be adding Erotica to my list but it will be VERY rare and I will only be reading Erotica that I want to read, I will not be taking Erotica requests. My blog is still very Family Friendly and the post will let you know if it contains naughty language and the title will be labeled Erotica. I just like to read NA, Contemp or adult books and I think it’s time to make a minor change and add it to my blog. I have been considering opening a Because Reading after Dark but I will let you know. For right now my blog is mainly YA, MG & Fantasy but once in a while I might through something in or even have a link to my Goodreads if the review is to hot for the blog 🙂
This month I plan to do a new feature hosted by The Geeky Blogger called Task it Tuesday its a meme that allows you to set a task for yourself to do and then get it done for the next week. So each week I will be posting what I want to accomplish whether it’s something on the blog or something in my Real Life and then the next week I will tell you my progress and what I plan to do next. I think this will be great motivation for me to get those tasks done that I tend to put off. Even if the task is just to clean out one kitchen cabinet it’s a task that need to be done and I will be a happy person when it is 🙂
Three books I want to read this month:
Clicking on thumbnail covers will take you to Goodreads

Did you get to read all the book you wanted to this month?
Have a Great Day and Happy Reading
OOPS..Tear You Apart…hehe I knew what I was talking about anyway..lol
Lot of post last month. 🙂 You have Tear Me Apart which reminds me that I needed to get the first book cause I have this one to review but it’s the second book..oops. 🙂
Stormi
I review everything, so I never thought about starting another blog. In fact, just the thought exhausts me. I can hardly keep up with my blog as it is let alone two of them. lol Looking forward to seeing your new posts. Your excitement has me excited! 😀
You’re had a busy month my friend. I like erotica as well, but I try to keep my reviews clean when it comes to them, adding an “adult’s only” note on those posts. However, I did stop posting children’s book reviews because of the erotica that was being reviewed.
Awesome going Michelle 🙂 I considered a side blog for more ‘adult’ books, but then realised I’d never actually aimed my reviews at a particular age range so it didn’t matter so much!
