Week in Review:
Both kids are officially back to school, so this week was crazy. The weather this weekend was GORGEOUS! Like my favorite weather, in the low 70s with an amazing breeze. It did rain and suppose to rain this week and warm up because of hurricane Gordon. I am hoping Florence moves her ass out to sea because her path is making me a little nervous.
It was slow reading, but I got a few pages read in my current read. I was able to get a bunch of design work completed. I was very behind but I am now almost caught up. The only thing I haven’t gotten back to doing was visiting and I am hoping after this week/weekend that will change.
Today is a VERY busy day (unless it rains), my daughter has her pep rally at 10am and her first football game at 2 (she’s a cheerleader) which is an away game, so who knows what time I will be home. I will try to visit as many people as I can in the morning but it might have to wait until Monday unless it rains then I will be here all day. 🙂 Change of plans game is still on but girls don’t cheer in the rain, so I will be home blogging and visiting all day! 🙂
Bloggiesta returns on October 22nd to the 28th it actually runs into the last week of Blog Ahead which starts October 1st. You can sign up for Blog Ahead HERE. I haven’t started Strength yet because I started illuminae I am only a few pages in and I find it so interesting how it reads but I’m looking for a character connection and I don’t seem to be finding one just yet. I assume there will be one at some point…right?
What I grabbed
This book looks super creepy and will be doing it as a blog tour at the end of the month. It’s a short read so I will probably squeeze it in at some point this week.
I forgot to change the title of the post since I got this on Saturday and I wrote the title on Friday! 🙂 lol
Random
So tell me what have you been reading and up to this week?
Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!
Happy Reading

Hahaha I love the harry potter cartoon 🙂 What’s with people not reading the books, right?
So glad you’re getting caught up, that’s so great! And I bet today raining out the cheerleaders helped some! Just sent you a text about bloggiesta,, we may have a situation… TTFN {HUGS}
Its been raining here since Friday. Some places around here got 8 inches of rain from Friday-today. its nuts! But, it did cool things off a bit so yay! I was over the 90 degree heat!
Enjoy your books!
First week back is hard adjusting. Wahoo for the change in plans ..nice to get the day off to blog 🙂
Isn’t it funny how things change when kids go back to school? Ha ha and yes the cooler weather is AWESOME. More please!
Hope you’re enjoying Illuminae! Small Spaces looks like a trip.
Hopefully the storm gets out of the way. I’m glad the weather is cooler. I’m still waiting for consistently cooler weather here. It always seems to get really hot right before I go running. That Harry Potter random is hilarious. It reminds me of my mom. She’s seen all of the movies and doesn’t think she needs to read the books.
Small Spaces looks good and I enjoyed the Illuminae series a lot. Gordon blew through my area fast and the sun has finally come out again. Watching the track of Florence and looks like she’s going to be getting stronger. I hope you stay safe. The season is upon us.
Getting busy again with the start of school, I really don’t envy those with kids. 🙂 Hope you have a great week! I love the cover of that book you got for review!!
That sounds like a busy week with your kids going back to school and you doing a lot of design work. It’s been some good weather here too, not too warm, but still some sunny days.
I hope you find the character connection more with Illuminae as it progresses. I heard it has a very unique way it tells the story, but not sure if it’s for me. You seem to be enjoying that Curse of the Gods series :).
Have a great week!
I am looking forward to a quieter week this week, I hope.
It is really a great looking book and I am going to be so bummed if it doesn’t work out for me but I plan to keep trying because I feel like I will like it.
