Reading:
I’m trying, I really am! I plan to hold off on Madison Faye’s next book until I finish Kill the Farm Boy.
(Read, Currently Reading & Next)
What I grabbed:
This was a good book grabbing week. 🙂
Challenges & Readathons:
It’s officially that time of year, time to sign up for some fun challenges. The three challenges below are hosted by Myself and Berls. COYER is currently running but you still have plenty of time to sign up.
We added a new professor to The Reading Assignment so if you love a good Anthology you might want to check out her class.
And as always let’s get those bookish resolutions accomplished! This is one of my favorites, you still have plenty of time to sign up for all three! 🙂

Blogging:
It felt so good to be productive this weekend. I got a few posts done and a few drafted. Last week was crazy and I had no time to not only blog but do anything else. Thankfully even with Christmas Crazy I will still have some days to get some stuff done to finish out the year.
The blog was having some issues that last few weeks and while they still aren’t fixed I am not sure exactly what to do. First my Media Library organizer plugin broke and I had to deleted the plugin. So I lost all my folders of media stuff. I recently found another that is similar but I now have to organize everything all over again. Which is a huge task and I am praying this plug in doesn’t break at any point.
I am also having an issue with Jetpack, for some reason it has been giving me errors and I can’t figure out how to fix it. I have a request into my host company but for some reason they have pretty much dropped off the planet and are really hard to get in touch with. Next year I might need to look into getting a new web host. It’s sad because I really liked them and don’t want to stop using them but I just can’t keep them if they don’t answer my tickets. SOOOO for now I am keeping Jetpack even with the errors because I can’t find a plugin for sharing posts automatically that is free.

What you might see this week:
Next week is the week of Out with the Old/In wit the New. I wanted to do it early since I had other stuff I needed to schedule for the end of December and beginning of Jan. The recaps have been fun but this year was not my year. 🙂
Week in READview:
Real life:
Didn’t mean to not post last weekend but it was a CRAZY week. I had a huge project at work that I am the only one that does and it was a rush to get it done. I had so much to do that I was working all day and at home. Plus we has snow on the Monday and I had to switch my days so instead of working Monday, I worked on Friday. Then we had a bunch of stuff on Saturday and Sunday we went to NY to see the Christmas show and the tree. It was a bus trip and we were gone all day.
The weather has been super weird, it like snows, rains…..55 degrees to 30 the next day. It’s like crazy weather. I sort of am hoping that if it wasn’t to be all crazy it can at least snow on Christmas.
This week was better so I am officially on full on Christmas Mode. I still have a lot to do and I hope to get most of it done by next Friday. It’s crunch time….I am all in for Christmas. I am making the menu for the day, figuring out when to order the food, wrapping gifts and finishing up any loose ends. I am totally freaking out but so excited.
I was hoping to take the week of Christmas off but I only have two days left, so I have to go in on Monday which stinks because I have so much prep to do for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

So tell me what have you been reading and up to this week?
Hope you all have a fantastic week!!!
Happy Reading

Okay, I read your post, but I can’t get past how hot Banned looks. I keep going back to it and thinking, I really need to write my hot hockey player story. *nods* Uh huh. Yes, I do. Mmmm…*drools*
If you need inspiration you need to read her books. They are over the top hot and this one was just awesome. Band nerd and three hot football jocks in a band together. Lots of sex was involved lol I’m totally making that cover too, right? 😉
Banned lol- she’s a popular girl! :):) Your new stuff looks good though too!
Christmas is SOOO crazy. Good grief I love it but will also be glad when all this stuff is kinda done lol. We’re traveling for the holidays with several parties to go to and honestly I wouldn’t mind just being home haha.
Sorry to hear about the blog issues. Hopefully Jetpack gets their shit together soon!!!
Actually she was the band nerd. lol I am excited for all the new reads I got.
I think Turkey day being so late made the time seem to go so fast. I just feel like I didn’t have enough time to shop or save money lol
At the moment it’s ok but If it keeps doing it I will have to get rid of it. I just don’t have the memory to share all the posts to all the social media places every day. I like that it does it for me. (probably because I am spoiled lol)
Jetpack is such a pain sometimes! I have had so many issues with it. That sucks that your web host isn’t responsive. Kind of what you pay them for, no? The Weather has been super weird here too-rain, snow, rain, 20 degrees, 50 degrees. Its all over the place!
I have heard so many things about Jetpack but I can’t seem to find a plugin that will auto share posts.
I am very upset about them, I might need to look into someone new which stresses me out because I don’t like change that much.
The weather hasn’t been right for a long time, it worries me a bit.
Ugh I hate computer / blog issues. I think I may do 2020 Bookish resolutions so I can put together my own list of things I want to do which are actually challenging. We will see if I can get it figured out in the next couple weeks. I hope this week goes better and you enjoy some of those new reads!
Anne – Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
I would be so happy if you joined. I love it, it is one of my favorites. It never gets the attention it deserves. I love making it all about reading and of course LIST are life. 🙂
You have plenty of time, I think it closes in Feb . (Notice I said I think, It’s my challenge and I don’t even know lol )
Too bad about all the trouble with the host and jetpack. How frustrating that you lost those files. LOL, I have to bribe myself to read certain books before I finish certain favs. How neat that you got to take the bus trip up to NYC and see the tree.
Have a good week, Michelle!
It was really annoying, I am happy that I found something similar for the images but not happy I will have to redo it all over again.
We live about 15 minutes from NY City but not having to take the path train or drive in was so nice and was great to be able to walk around the tree was so nice. I wish we could have done more. I really need to make a point to take a trip in the spring to just walk around and enough time square.
Oh man Michelle I hate when a plugin or something else on the blog is giving me a hard time! And not being able to get ahold of them must be so frustrating! I hope next week will be better!
It has been driving me crazy, I hate that I have to start all over again, especially with the pictures, It took me forever to do it the first time.
You posted a ton this past week!
I should probably start thinking about what challenges I might take part in for 2020.
Wishing you a great reading week
Most of it was my co-blogger, we take turns on who posts the most and who is having a busy life. 🙂
Sounds like an extra busy holiday season! We all need more time in the day!
Enjoy your new reads! Happy holidays! 😀
I could use an extra 5 hours maybe 9
OOoh nice! Seasons of the Storm looks like fun! I loved Elle’s previous books and still have one or two of hers on my TBR pile that I need to read! Lol. I hope you enjoy all the lovely new reads!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I love the way it sounds, I can’t wait to read it.
I am looking forward to reading all of these! 🙂
I feel like Christmas came so fast this year ! We only got our tree up last weekend and our lights up yesterday! We still don’t have our door wreath hanging! I know a big part of it is Dante though. Good luck with all your xmas preparations! <3
We somehow lost a week and now I am all stressed. I have so much I need to do. The next two weeks are going to be insane lol
Well you had a baby and it’s hard to do all that stuff when they are really tiny. Next year he can help! 🙂
I have Seasons of the Storm as well! I can’t wait to start it. I’m so not looking forward to traveling to Tennessee for Christmas just because of the weather. Leave me in sunny and tropical Puerto Rico!
Seasons of the storm looks so different and I keep hear it’s like a Jack Frost story. When you are in a tropical climate I don’t blame you for not wanting to leave. Tennessee I think is worse than NJ at the moment.
