Rewind March & What to expect in April:
March came in like a lion and out like a lamb, I was still in a major blogging slump and at times wasn’t even sure if I really wanted to do this anymore. Thankfully a bloggiesta came along and a 24 hour read-a-thon hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviews. This helped me break my blogging slump and get into a better reading mood. Since I was so stressed about catching up I think I was putting myself in more of a slump so instead I just sucked it up and decided to more forward and not worry if I miss a post or two. So far it has been working and making me feel a lot more bloggy. Reading wise this month has sucked, I just couldn’t get into anything and trust me I have tried. Hopefully my reading slump is over now, too, since I have been reading more so this month my number of books read is really low.
The coming month brings with it the Dewey 24 Hour Read-a-thon (April 23) and I couldn’t be more excited about it. I love this read-a-thon and this time will be hosting a mini challenge that will get everyone reading. I am so excited for it, I think it will be fun but that means I might have to stay up until the end.
I am in the process of working on a few posts that I hope will be ready for late April or May. I am looking forward to the next month and I do hope it’s better than March. I know if I go a little slower things will go back to normal plus BEA is coming in May and that ALWAYS gets me in a serious blogging/reading mood. I talk more about that next Monthly Rewind 🙂
P.S. I am playing around with the logo, I like it but I don’t so in the next few updates you might see it change. 🙂

Challenge Updates for March:
I am not doing to bad on my challenges, I really need to get my Netgalley and Edelweiss challenges up a little higher and this month was the Take Control of your TBR List and I sort of failed at it but that seems to happen every year, I just have so many new books I only read a few old ones so I fail.
April is the time to sign up for the May Clean Sweep ARC Challenge and this one I might be able to do. April is also the Dewey 24 hour RAT (as I mentioned above) it’s one of my favorites and I can’t wait to read, read, read, all day long 🙂
In June I might be co-hosting another challenge and I can’t wait to give all the details, sign ups will be available in May.

How did you do this month?
Have a Great Day and Happy Reading!

I need to get my NetGalley challenges WAY up. I need to get through my the six, eight?, books on my immediate TBR and then move on to galleys. I was also in a blogging slump and felt similar. I think it might have been a life slump, more than a book slump. I’m also back on track and I feel okay about it. My reading is now where I want it to be, but I can’t make more time in a day. If only!
I cannot wait for Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon!!!! And I can’t wait to see what your challenge is!!! I still don’t know if I’ll get that weekend off, but it they don’t give it to me, I’m totally calling in. 😛
Glad you’re feeling the blogging thing more! I didn’t read much in March either, I’ve been wanting to try urban fantasy but wasn’t sure where to start so I just kind of drifted a bit. lol. Maybe April will be better. 🙂
You did pretty good in spite of the slump!
I didn’t realize how good I did until this posted.
I jumped off my review books and am reading something I got for xmas and am really loving it so I think my reading slump might be passing now.
Though you had a slow reading month you still seem to have a lot of stuff on your blog! I am glad you are getting out of that slump I hate when I feel like that. 🙂
For some reason every time I say I am having a slow month the monthly rewind proves me wrong lol. I really thought I was a lot slower than this.
